a long time ago in high school... when I was a cheerleader, prom queen, class president, was in cliques, drove a hot little red sports car. I wore only name brand clothing, and thought less of others who were not in my group.

Then I grew up and realized that I was the ugly person by behaving that way. I embrace all people from all stages in life now.

once I realized all that about myself, I also found out all my "friends" were friends only by convenience. They were truly not my friends at all. Once I started changing my life, all my so called friends turned their back on me and suddenly evaporated from my life.

AND the mental condition has nothing to do with your economic condition.  Quite simply, you think more highly of yourself than you should.

There are 'stuck up' people in both trailer parks and in gated communities.  More than likely somewhere along the way (either because they got too many trophies in little league or they were surrounded by people who thought they could do no wrong) they got it in their head that their sh!t doesn't stink, and they've had this mental condition ever since.

Granted it is a a bit more amusing to see someone acting stuck up in a trailer park or working the fry station at BK, but whether you're on Wall Street or Main Street, it a sad condition to witness.

stuck up for several reasons

1. my shit does stink

2. I'm not in the top 1% in earnings

3. Very blue collar, I work very hard for my money

4. nothing has ever just been handed to me. I literally grew up in the hood an area of New Orleans known as Hollygrove and as a white kid in that neighborhood I had to fight everyday. I now own my home with an inground pool that I paid cash for.

I am very confident in what I do either in my job or behind closed doors.
So stuck up no, confident yes

Excellent question and I see your point. Your conclusion is based off of the one thing you know about me, which is I am a medic. Being a medic is the job I do because of the tax benefits and gratification I get from helping people. I also owned two successful businesses at the time(that's where the tax benefit comes in), as well as it was a 2 income family. You are correct in that my salary as a medic alone I would have never been able to afford the pool. Well maybe a wal-mart snoopy pool

You also get a tax credit working for a private ambulance co ? I have seen where volunteer EMTs can earn a tax credit. You can also work for the volunteer co, and volunteer, when not on the clock.

See your story changed, Business owner (legal) tax cheat, two income household, if your married
another tax credit. That's not the same as earning a wage, and buying your house that way.

I'm not trying to give you a hard way to go here. I understand managing a business is a lot of work, and why not take advantage of tax credit's .

as the left would say you didn't build that, yet you did put in the work. Ten bucks, and we can have snoopy in your back yard, by 16:00 tomorow, you'll have to pay London to come piss in it though.

I started both companies and they are both physically demanding and o am hands on. So not only do I work it but I also get the white collar responsibility of payroll, payroll taxes, purchasing, and customer relations ( some better than others) and sales. Oh yea I'm in school too.

Until about 2008, all I did was go to school and fk off with my life. My parents paid for everything until I was able to get enough credit to buy a home. Even after that, look where I am at. I put myself through grad school by turning tricks, not by working 3 jobs like most of the other people had to do. So no, not everyone has to work hard to get where they are at. Many people are born of privelage and daddy hands them a VP position at the family co.

I did not grow up until I had a child of my own, and that forced me to be responsible for someone other than myself for the first time in my life. I still have a lot of growing up to do, and often take the easy way out when things get too hard.

Are you saying that what you do now is easy?  From everything I read on here it sounds like a job. You provide a service that is compensated I one way or another. You may have been given things early on but not now. We all have to grow up eventually but we never have to stop having fun.

I mean in two hours, I can make what most make in a week after taxes. It's the rest of the bs that is hard. The emotional and mental drain, guilt, etc. Not being able to really talk to anyone about it, not being able to carry on a healthy relationship outside of here, etc. Those are the things that make the rate what it is, not the sex...that's the easy part.

Knowing that if you are stuck-up and you don't feel good about it... then you decide to make changes for the better. That's Caitlyn.

Working hard to get what you earned to be someone you can be proud of doesn't not make you stuck-up. That's Magic Medic.

and being a hooker really does not make me better than anyone. I was more of a rebel in high school than anything else. I hung around with the cool kids, but I was the one getting them into bars and sneaking out to smoke pot on the lunch hour lol. I was pretty spoiled, so I am a bit lazy at times.
