If for home use, there is no issue really with copywrites.

If commercial, you want to find music that is in the public domain.

If you do a Google search for that, you should turn up quite a bit of it.

Low budget movie makers have been doing that for years.

(still not a lawyer)

The link below is one of many sources for "safe" music. It is not free of course.  As mrfisher said, if you are not going to profit from the videos there really won't be a copyright issue using whatever you like.

Does anyone know where I can go to if I wanted to seek out background music for some home made videos of an adult nature? I have an idea of the type of background music I'd like to use but I also don't want to have any problems with copy write infringement issues.  I also like to know what would be the best camcorder to use?? I know HD is the way to go but does anyone recommend any particular brand or features for these types of videos?????

Looking like you're from the left coast lucky fuck, you should have many resources at your disposal. As far as cameras there are many A/V forums google video shooting,production I have seen nice light weight,compact cameras perfect for POV.

Thanks for responding to my inquire. Yes, the videos are for profit. There is a provider that has her own site, public and pay per view. She has a hand full of videos and her first one's were using the same background music. I suggested  to her to mix it up if she wants to keep her site profitable. Now I'm tasked with seeking out "free" music for her tech guy to use. I enjoy the challenge and to help out. Her handle is Freya Fantasia out of San Diego. Check out her site and TER reviews. Yes the right coast Baltimore, gas isn't to high like 3+ a gallon.
