This is a general question, and inspired by Mr. UnlimitedDoggie's posting on Tobacco.  I am expecting him to be one of the first responders!  I am also certain this issue must have been discussed before.

Why do some women love doggie style, some hate it?  

Also, perhaps some of the providers can enlighten us about the character of the women in each camp as well.

What I really like is variety - including said doggie style.  They all feel a bit different, the positions, there are dozens of reasons why someone might like one and not the others.  Some might prefer face to face, that body on body contact, some might like the deeper penetration from behind.  And please, no psychoanalysis of what those choices might mean!

Every woman is shaped differently just as her eyes and mouth are unique so too are her erogenous zones.  For some women I've known, the reason they enjoy doggie style so much is that its the best way for your cock to caress their G-spot.

some women might like the man laying on top of her for various reasons....cleanliness,intimacy issues etc. So by default they may say they LOVE doggie.

Most providers don't like to kiss. With doggie, they can have sex with you without actually being face to face with a client--this way it is less personal and they don't have to worry about the client's stubble, facial hair, bad breath, etc.

The only problem I can see with doggie is that the client can actually penetrate deeper because you are not pounding against the pubic bone--this may cause some pain for some providers. The fact that the man can also grab on to the pelvis as leverage--they can actually thrust much harder than missionary. Also, it is harder for a provider to check the status of the condom when they can't see it from behind.

I usually like to start doggie but prefer to finish mish.

I understand that in Canada this position is referred to as "Canadian".  It is popular because it allows both to watch the hockey game.  Sedagive.

It usually hurts me when a guy puts it in too deep.

It's not often that you hear a defense of the poor ole missionary position. Not sure what you mean by intimacy issues, though.

Always willing to do double blinded research for the team (we both had our eyes closed this evening), when she stated that she loved doggie the best, I asked her why (since I read your question earlier in the evening).  Answer: it touches the most wonderful of spots.

A client should know better than go so deep. There are many varations of doggie style. You might want to try laying on your stomach. Have the client try entry at different angles (sholders way up in the air versus laying completely on top of you) in case he is do big.  Also I suggest that you put a pillow under your stomach. For some reason a pillow under the stomach makes a provider butt seem like it is lot bigger. Have fun, but never in pain.

It is definitely my favorite - makes me feel savage, and 'taken'.
