I am curious. Do any of you visit providers that do not show pictures on their web site?

Ladies,
I understand the need for privacy. But it's almost a "why bother?" question when putting up a web site with no pictures.

General comment.
I say this because I just visited a well constructed website of a lady with no pictures. My point is, why spend the money on that if a geocities web page will acomplish the same thing at a fraction of the cost.

give me a lady with a number of good reviews, especially from names I recognize (and maybe know), and I could be persuaded.

Also, it all depends on the presentation and how specific the web site is about the provider.  The more specific, the better the chances of seeing her.

Finally, some providers don't bother with pix b/c that's an extra level of screening.  If you call her, you're probably calling on the word of another hobbyist that they probably have seen and can vouch for them.  Makes for a little less stress for the provider.

and in this day and age that is dumber than dog-sh*t.

 The lady in question here must be either brain dead or loves to throw money away. I"ve got a fav' who advertises on the upgraded version of geocities using only one picture with her face obscured by her hair. The success from her page has been phenomenal and her monthly costs are about the equivalent of lunch for two at McDonalds.

I saw a provider that had no website and no pictures a few years ago. I found the hidden jewel from a review on the other site. Turned out to be one the best providers that I have seen.

It's like advertising without showing the product---not exactly a sound business practice if one puts alot of money into it. Maybe she only moonlights as a provider and doesn't rely on the income. Me, I don't bother with providers with no pics. Got burned too many times.

not showing any part of the goods leads me to believe there's a reason she doesn't show them. Hell, she can just hide her face and show the body. Even if she is let's say, a heavy lady, there is still a market for that if she advertises right. In the case of the lady in question, I'll bet she has to shell out big bucks for the design and the hosting. And all for what? She might as well put an ad in Craig's list.
