The TER best eyes contest is the best one so far, IMHO. Don't get me wrong, I loved the pics of shapely asses, nice boobs, and looooong legs, but I find myself looking over the pics of the eyes over and over again.

Maybe cuz on a lot of provider's websites there is censoring, particularly of the eyes.  They're all beautiful!

Ophelia's mesmerizing green eyes... Mia Moore's exotic color... January's serene and classy look... Brooke's dazzling light blue eyes... Britney's mischievous, sassy stare... I could go on and on down the list.

I've always been drawn to beautiful eyes, so to see this contest makes me wanna book appts with all of you!  Thanks TER for putting on such a show for us!

This might seem rather obvious, but my observation, in the case of the two ladies in the contest I have seen (Anya and Kacey), is that pictures don't capture the true beauty of their eyes.

I'm often captivated by a woman's eyes, so I'm enjoying this contest as well (or is that where I'm supposed to say "also?")

looking someone in the eye can be quite intense. i couldn't go without it if i was truly enjoying it.  that to me is why THIS contest seems so special

I always see more providers to add to my 'favorites' list. And, the sad tale is that I couldn't 'do' everyone on my list in 10 years. LOL

Skyblueeyes probably has the most beautiful eyes in the contest and is not even in the top 10.  I know this is subjectivr guys, but I think because she entered late, she did not get all the votes she deserves.

well, not RIGGED ... almost ... "pre-determined" is perhaps a better way to put it!  

the problem is, all these contests (for best body parts, sans face) are unfair because the IDENTITY of the provider is known. so what happens is that providers round up all their clients/fans/etc and encourage them to vote for THEM. most often guys who are not cajoled into doing it end up subconciously rationalizing a vote for a girl not because she has the best body part in question but because she's their favourite provider (no doubt afterwards they send her a little gushing email saying: "i just voted for you sweetie!" ... this is their way of showering her with gifts (and potentially scoring a discount in the future)


when it comes to what's really going on with these contests, i don't think i need to invoke Cynicalman (or his "enfant-terrible" Cynicalman 2.0) to point out the obvious fact that:

it's all about that $500 prize!

I'm still waiting for the TER contest for "best management". The real answer is does the winner keep the $500 or does she have to fork it over to her, ummmm, manager(s)? Y'all know where I stand on that one.

You'd have a valid point about the contest being different if there were no names.

Except for one thing:

It's NOT about the prize money.   The odds are worse than the lottery.

So why would a girl take the time and effort to find or take a pic, have it touched and cropped and mail it in to a contest that statistically ... she won't win?

Because YOU look at a pair of eyes and see WowBobbi and then check her page .... which leads to her reviews ... which leads to finding out that she does that thing your mother wanred you about.

If it was just a pair of eyes .... you'd go "hmmm"  vote ... and move on.

It's about the marketing.

singleton I can't believe you believe providers would give discounts just because somebody says they voted for them in one of these contests!

As megapig says, it's all about marketing. Being the in contest generates more visits to your site, raises your profile etc - it's a promotional tool and a bit of fun and if was seen as such I don't think people would get so worked up about it all.

of course it's not about the $500 prize! it's about publicity and generating new clientele as you and others have pointed out. i'm fully aware of that (i AM the re-incarnation of Cynicalman!) but since when did publicity and website foot-traffic become divorced from money?

but do folks honestly think that with something as highly-publicized at stake as "Ms. TER This-or-That" there's no behind-the-scenes shenanigans going on? that it's not (or shouldn't be) such a big deal?

with guys being able to vote unlimited # of times and some providers (who i've seen with my own eyes) championing them on the boards (not to mention the backchannel) what's going on is
