For me it’s simple:
1. A provider has to be a member of P411
2. A provider has to have a profile here on TER with recent reviews. I realize that recent reviews, at the moment, is a bit of a speed bump, but that will sort itself out in the coming weeks/months. I also cross check the reviewers as well, to get a feel on how reliable they are.
3. A provider has to have her own personal website, Eros et all don’t count. I want to see that a provider is all in enough to show that she takes her business seriously by having her own website.
4. Social media is not a must. However, I do look at a gal’s SM and if there are a ton of political posts, TER bashing, constant bitching about this, that & whatever I tend to dismiss them immediately for the simple fact that they come off as unprofessional which leads me to ask myself other questions about their professionalism: GPS, tardiness, flakey etc. etc. etc.
TER used with P411 has always been a great combo. No way would I EVER see a gal without doing review research which is why I’m so relieved to see TER back. P411 makes verification immensely easier and I don’t see gals without it. A personal website just gives me a little more information and often gives me some great insight on the provider’s personality. A lot of these pages turn a “definite maybe” into a “must see”. A lot of providers have updated pics, their outside interests, where they like to travel etc. which make great icebreakers when meeting for the first time.
Sadly, SM has been a dealbreaker for so many gals that I would have seen otherwise. When I see anyone going on about politics, TER-basing, “woke”-splaning I just block them on P411 and TER and move on. I’d have to say that SM filters out more potential dates than the other three criteria combined. Some of the SM pages are really fun to read though. They do a great job updating pics and provide useful info about touring and doubles partners so SM can definitely be another feather in the cap.
I guess we all use a little bit of our own method for screening providers. The TER/P411 combo has been great for so many of us in the past and I suspect it will remain the primary means for most of us here. SM adds another dimension that should, imho, not be overlooked or ignored.
This is how I screened over the past couple of years when TER was down. Now with TER being in the fold again I’m looking forward to seeing some new ladies where I live and where my travels take me.
