What has been the response or look when you visit your doctor and they see you are clean shaving down there?  Am sure for woman its not a problem since they get checked annually and want to keep it tidy  but what about the men?  What are their reactions?

I tell him fully what I engage in because it is shear folly to do otherwise.

that I hobby, so I have nothing to hide from him.  He's cool about it, gives me scrips for vitamin V and cialis.

What I'm not sure of, is how other civvie men will deal with my trimmed pubes, so I sort of hide from them in locker room at gym.

I'm not sure I'm young enough any more to consider myself in the "younger generation" than the posters here, but the post had me confused.

I think that men for a number of years now have been paying as much attention to grooming as women.  I've had girlfriends who enjoyed things neat and tidy down there.  And frankly, all you need is one girlfriend to point out that she enjoys going down a lot more when it's trimmed or shaved, to make it a habit.

So I hardly think it's only hobbyists who do this sort of grooming.  But I suppose it could be a generational thing.

I think one disapproves- while the other smiles, and advises me to not OD on Viagra... Bwahahahaha..... she is a cut up!!!

As a doctor the last thing a patient wants to here is some off hand comment about his shaved nuts.  I dont even notice when I am in "professional mode".  I have been in practice for 15 yrs so ive seen alot.  A tattoed penis will still raise an eyebrow though

A man wished to show devotion to his long time girlfriend named Wendy, so he decided to have her name tattooed on his penis. After he undressed at the tattoo parlor, the artist said, "sir, your penis has to be hard for me to do the tattoo". He said, "ok", did what he had to do, and they quickly got started. "No man", the Jamaican replied. "When I get hard, the tattoo on my penis says, "WELCOME TO JAMAICA, HAVE A NICE DAY"...

Certainly raised my eyebrows .... my ex SO actually had a word tattoed on his penis.  It said "Penis" in russian  

Guess he just wanted to make sure nobody confused it with something else LOL

FYI: a dilemma for older gents who have age-related cherry red spots on their scrotum....actually small venous aneurysms of a sort....when they are shaved and nicked, boy do they bleed........aluminum chloride liquid very useful on a cloth and pressure help.........doc
