Wait....you knew there was a chance she would not be up to par and you still called. I would have just looked for some new meat to see.

What fine line is that? Oh you mean the line where you also pay your girlfriend to fuck you and when you leave she goes to her real boyfriend/so? Or is it the line where both your girlfriend and callgirl would not be seen in public with you unless it was on the clock?   Yeah I am confused about this line.

Last time I saw one of my regular, she didn't have any make-up on and I know she was having some personal problems and she looked haggard from lack of sleep.

So, I text her and said I wanted to see her and I requested "put some make-up on baby" ?
She text back "put some make up on!!! kiss my ass!".   I said "I hope u didn't get pissed at me, but I love to lick that ass".  And then she text back "Sorry for the f-bomb, we're all good".

Was I rude, or was she being sensitive about the 'make-up' issue.  Maybe I should just have said "please be beautiful for me baby". I donno.  Do some clients request that you wear make-up? And if you don't like make-up, is that a bad request?

Honestly, there is a fine line between the provider/hobbyist relationship and the Boyfriend/Girlfriend relationship.

I had an argument with about changing an appointment time that sounded identical to an argument I had with my girlfriend about where to get something to eat - in both scenarios I dropped cash.

That's probably your answer there.  Anyone, even the best of people, act poorly under stress and lack of sleep.  Don't take it personally, you were the wrong person in the wrong place.  It might be nice if every provider were a perfect actress every moment of every day, but that ain't reality and never will be.

Algina, you just cannot help yourself I guess out of pure habitual posting.

The guy asked for ladies to respond. Are you a lady? Never mind that was rhetorical!

Get a freaking live will you and stop the lame posting where not asked for especially.

what is *important* is whether your communication offended the lady or not, and if so, whether you learn the lesson appropos to communication with that particular lady

a general "rule" if you like is that politeness, respect and sensitivity in communication with a woman, provider or otherwise, is never a mistake

Anyone may respond to any post he or she goddamn wants to

Only asshats think that they can really come on the general board and specify who is allowed to respond to a post, or limit how they may respond

people who carp at other posters with nothing useful to contribute are useless whiners

Well then since you both want to respond to "A question for the laides" perhaps you should respond to the other part of the OP's questions from the ladies side. "Do some clients request that you wear make-up? And if you don't like make-up, is that a bad request?"

Why not respond to the whole post not just your personal opinion that was not requested instead of picking and choosing your response?

I personally prefer a less made up look, but I've spent time with ladies that have a poor self image and refuse to be seen without full gear.  We all have a different view of what's in the mirror than what others see.  For example, when I look in the mirror, I see a 6 foot tall guy, weighing 180, six pack abs and the envy of all.  I don't think any woman has seen that version of me.  They must all have bad eyesight, lol.

Just once did I see a lady that was without makeup that I regretted.  It turned me off to the whole time together, but I can't say that it would've been great if she was painted up, but she wouldn't have looked so plain.

first, you didn't really say whether or not it is her norm to be totally made-up for dates. if it is, and the last time you saw her she was drastically different from her norm both physically and mentally, well first you really should have postponed the date for some later date. secondly, you should assume that for any future dates she would be back to normal, make-up and all, without you having to tell her to do so. that is probably where she took offense.

also a woman's physical image is an extremely sensitive issue...most of us harbor many insecurities about our appearance, and the last thing we need is someone, however well-intentioned, telling us that we do not look our best. i personally would take a request to wear make-up as someone saying "you look like crap without some paint covering up all your ugly." yeah, extreme i know, but then i am a natural girl who has never worn more than lip gloss. luckily, i have never gotten such a request, or any complaints about my lack of make-up (quite the contrary). i do understand it would be different for a girl who is typically more "done," but to be sure, she will still be offended and somewhat hurt by the approach you described here.

Lol it was a bit rude because well clearly if it wasn't she wouldn't have gotten miffed about it. I think it's not what you said or well texted but how you put it. Maybe you could've texted before you saw her wear some nice makeup for me or....something.

I've never had someone ask me to wear makeup....I don't need it and I don't wear it anyways. Now if someone requested me to get dolled up or wear a certain kind of heels or dress in advance that's a different story.

Some times we need to hear that type of thing. I recommend permanent make up. At first when I would get on with my day, I would suddenly remember I had not applied any make up and then I remember I am always wearing make up thanks to that decision.

Keep the house very very clean and uncluttered is very important. People feel safe in a clean house. I live in a small house that doesn't seem like much from the outside nor was it very nice when I moved in. But the way I have it now gets lot of great compliments.

So no you were not being rude. Both ways work but one is a wake up call. Keep the honesty.

It's just good business and when I am dressed beautifully I feel beautiful..

Girls are sensitive and if she were having a bad day. I could see how this may have hurt her.
make she can do something about. Its not like you said . " Hey, can you make your ass smaller"

I don't think you were rude at all

If the last time you saw her, she was not her usual self - you should have had the decency to protect yourself (and her) from her poor choice is seeing you.  She ought not to have accepted the appointment if she wasn't 'herself' and you, seeing her all a mess, should have politely offered to come back when she was feeling better.

That being mistake #1 on both of your parts...  I see nothing wrong with your checking in on her to see if she is 'back to normal'.  It could have been phrased a little better, though.  Something along the lines of, "You know how I love how you do your hair/face for me... are you feeling up to doing that for me or would you rather we wait until you're in a better place?"

I see nothing wrong with politely making your preference for a certain look known.  Her response to your appropriate, yet less-than-tactful, request was still off-the-charts rude and classless.  Personally, if anyone ever spoke to me like that I'd have nothing to do with them again. PERIOD. (Assuming they were serious, joking around like that is one thing but I didn't gather this was a joke between you two)

I happen to be one of those ladies who prefers to be well-presented.  For me, that means hair, make up, jewelry, lingerie, clothing, shoes and any other accessories appropriate to the occasion.  I know some ladies are very 'natural' in their appearance and I am not being negative toward them, simply stating how I choose to present myself to the world.  Since this is my normal way of being, someone would need to request I *not* be 'dolled up' rather than request I actually make myself presentable.  I think a gent can gather from my pics how he should expect to meet me but just in case, I do make a point of asking if there is a particular look he enjoys for either public or private attire.  It is YOUR fantasy I'm to fulfill (not my personal comfort or laziness level), is it not?  ;-)

You couldn't be a guy after the admonition you posted to others, that would be far too hypocritical.

But beyond that, since when does someone have to reply to the entirerty of a post in order to reply at all?  That must be in part of the rules I skimmed over.  Please point it out to me.

If you don't agree with my post, then explain why or what part you disagree with.  Otherwise I'm not sure why you're are posting in reply to mine at all.

It should always be expected of us ladies to look our best.
We should always present ourselves in person as we look in the pic's in our Ad.
Otherwise, it is misleading.

If you see our pic's and prefer a more natural or a more dolled-up look, it's up to you to make that request POLITELY. Otherwise, you should expect to always see us as we look in our pic's.

I'm not sure what her Norm is, but if she was made up in her pictures and in your previous dates together, then you have every right to be disappointed.

However, You should have asked her if she was feeling better before setting up a "date" with her again & then politely asked if she could get dolled up for you.

Saying "put some make-up on" might have been a little offensive to her especially if she was already dealing with personal issues.

But honestly I think that any provider who feels like she can't look her best and feel her best should take some time off until she gathers herself. Her bad mood WILL rub off on you. You can always tell when someone is distracted or distant, and that is unattractive and a turn off.

Lesson learned!
-After a bad experience, make sure she is herself again or Move on.

xoxo
Jade

Girlfriend, wife, mistress, or provider:  if they ask "do I look good in this" it's best to pretend you didn't hear the question.  ;)

I emailed her roommate, a well reviewed escort here at TER (have high respects for her).  She said my regular is back on crack coc and didn't sleep that night .. that's why she looked haggard and pale when she met me. Didn't pay her rent and so her roommate change the lock on her. Told me not to see her anymore because she'll only spend the all money on crack.  Shitttt I knew something was going on.

I scheduled to see her in a few days - now I have second thoughts.

Ordinarily, I'd take another provider's say so with a grain of salt...  You believe the roommate, because it fits with your first hand observations.

Joe, she would really look like crap if shes strung out on crack.  Makeup isn't gonna help.   She's gonna crash, get sloppy, do dumb things.   A train wreck in the making.

For your own safety...  and it sure MUST come first, you must walk away.  NO, make that RUN, away from her.   Giving her cash will only enable her to mess herself up worse.   As she gets sloppy, begins taking increased risks which means anyone around her takes increased risks.   If she gets busted, she...  & who ever is with her...  may well get busted for drugs as well.

Repeat the serenity prayer several times until it sinks in.  YOU can not change wha she does on her own time.    She alone is responsible for her life choices.

Walk away, no matter what your feelings are.  Because you must
