A Calendar Makes That Much Difference?

So obviously reviews help both provider's and hobbyists alike! Reading them lets the client know roughly what a girl offers, a bit about her temperament, and most importantly that she's real and not a scammer, and for providers well..it brings us our clients :)

That being said...is a numerical score necessary? In regards to attractiveness, well like the saying go beauty is in the eye of the beholder plus one can easily describe the looks of a provider in a couple of sentences...and for the score on performance, again a few sentences, I believe, can give you all you need.

What are your thoughts? Do you place any weight on the numerical scores when making a decision to see a girl or not, if so why

But not by just 1 or 2 hobbyists
If she has consistent 6's or lower in both looks and performance. I'm out!

If she is 6 or higher in looks, with 8 plus performance scores. I'm in!
(depending on the donation request) (Under 300.00 in that case)

Otherwise, I will shell out the additional $50.00 to see the 8 plus looks
8 plus performance.

If a provider has many reviews, then I'll use the scores as a floor, below which I won't venture. That serves for both appearance and performance. For those with just a few reviews, then appearance will win out, again only above a certain level.

That said, appearance is definitely in the eye of the beholder. For example, some men like giant breasts and will score higher for those. Personally, I find them unattractive and will not seek the company of those that have them. Conversely, I'm a sucker for a pretty, in my eyes, face, while other customers could not care less. So, the appearance scores are truly kind of meaningless above a certain number, generally in my experience around 7.

As for performance, I look strictly at the menu. One guy's or gal's experience is unique to him/her. Chemistry plays a big role in this aspect of the encounter, and who knows how two complete strangers are going to react to each other.

..particularly since TER has attached an arbitrary definition to each number. Taken literally I can give out only one 10 for performance, ever, because she was "once in a lifetime". The reality is 10 is the highest level and many women can perch there at the same time. What is my definition of a 9.... one notch below a 10. Drill down. You get the idea. TER also has arbitrary rules for even qualifying for 10. There are a number of women who rocked my world yet the rules forbid me giving them a 10.

As for a number in regards to looks that is even crazier. Like you said "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Many is the time that a women became more attractive the more I saw her.

in a town I haven't visited in a while. Once I see the list of possibles, I then start reading the details in the reviews, checking provider websites for photos (does Jr. like what he sees), a little bit about her, and her calendar to see if she is available.

Providers that do not keep an updated calendar loose my business.

until a very affable, well intentioned, retired actuary and 'aggregates' made it corrupt.

IMO the "numbers" are still of value(except for "appearance"); but certainly not as they were before the "aggregate" scoring statistics.

Hmm, really? So if she's by appointment so has no calendar she's written off? Interesting thought...I've never had a calendar. Wonder who else shares that approach.

To the numbers, our 5 6 or 7 could be someone else's 8 9 and 10, i want to know if pics are correct,   and if she smokes or not, we gather everything else from the reviews, and the wife reads those,i dont.....numbers are pointless especially if you habe pictures and decent reviews to go off of.

Just like any other business the higher reviews or scores.
It gives the customer a good insight into the service they may receive themselves in the future.

The  actual review is far more important

but taken as a whole, the overall ratings are useful. They DO usually represent a provider's generally perceived appearance, performance and menu. Most of us are easily able to "screen out" obviously skewed numbers, and most of us rely on the written parts of a review or two.

I believe a there are many fake or paid reviews, or reviews by clients with an axe to grind or who chronically score lower than everyone else (there was a great example of this on the Boston board -I think Boston- a few days ago). Also, some reviewers don't know how the rating system works - especially how the performance ratings go up and down based upon menu and not services actually provided in a session (and I daresay a few providers don't understand this either).

In any case, review numbers are just one aspect of making a decision - and probably not the biggest one for most hobbyists.

Does provide a bit of filter tool and, not that I really care (probably checked it a total of 5 time times since being on TER), where would the top 100 list go?

If I were in charge of TER, I would not have a numerical score for looks. Everyone has their own preferences for looks and that would be hard to put on a 1-10 scale.

Also, I would change the ratings for performance. Instead of a 1-10 scale, I would do 0-4.
0-ripoff
1-not a ripoff but not a good session
2-good session but I would not repeat since the woman is not my type(for example, I usually get BBWs, I got a spinner, we had an ok time but she's not my type so I probably would not repeat)
3- I might repeat
4- I will definitely repeat

I always found it hard to differentiate on 6-10. I rated one provider a 10 because I came twice during a session and that never happens. But it's doubtful that I'm going to forget that it's a service (9) cause I'm paying a lot for these sessions. It's kind of hard to quantify her going the extra mile (8).
