(You might want to look up on your dial first as to what that spells out.)

For shits and giggles, I opened up Classic on my Firefox browser and IE simultaneously  (No, the internet did not come crashing down as I feared it might.) and both it and the IE Classic have been humming along now for about ten minutes without a problem on classic.

I still enjoy the looks of Classic and feel more at home with it, so I don't plan to leave until someone peels my dead, cold, steely fingers off of Classic, to paraphrase the late Mr. Heston.

I use IE mostly because my work email seems to work much better in IE, or I probably would chuck it too.

And where can I find one of the modern phones like you show there?  I hate having to hold the receiver and transmitter with separate hands and flick the switch a few times to get Flossie to connect me with central.  I thought I could find one at my local Radio Shack but the kid there just scratched his head and suggested I use two tin cans and a piece of string.  I think that store has lost its edge.

For many months now, getting onto TER Classic has been a 50/50 proposition, but when I got on it, it seemed to work just fine.

Starting yesterday however, the screen would go blank all of a sudden.  I reentered and it worked yesterday, but this AM it only worked for a minute or so and then went blank.  I tried 3 times so here I am on the new TER.

Anyone else notice this?  I haven't tried going on in a different browser.  I'm using IE

1. Move to the New TER... Its been around for 4 yrs now... C'mon now...

2.. Stop using IE. Yes, a lot less people use it now than before...Combined marketshare of IE 8, 9,10, 11 is somewhere around 50-55% right now. It used to be more like 85% in 2008. Google Chrome and Firefox are much better browsers than IE

3. Please upgrade your phone.. I've been trying to call you all night for some naughty talk....Grrrrr :D

...time to change. I've been using Firefox for years now. It is a much better/friendlier browser. I like Classic TER too. I used it when TER was making all the changes a while back. Remember when everyone (and I do mean everyone) was complaining about TER being slow and not loading, etc. Classic was fine so I used it. Now however there are many things on Classic that take you to new TER when you click to access them and requires you to log on before you can view it. I can't remember the last time I went on Classic. I've given it up completely.

I do like the sharp contrast color scheme of Classic so I hope when the new TER is updated that is taken into consideration.

Won't you join us in the land of technology still being supported?

Though I can appreciate it, I only started receiving texts from my father last year. And still to this day if I text him something he immediately calls me, as opposed to texting back. When I avoid his call he texts "I just tried calling you." It's a work in progress.

They left that old tricorder with him.  I think it's the same one they're using to find Flight 370?

I have to use the newer version to give a white list now, write and alias, and now that I've finally broke my boycott of the Photo Only Board, use the newer version.

Other than jumping on the newer version for those things, I use Classic as well.

Yesterday it did take me a couple of times to log on though.

See ya soon...

... But 10 to 15 minutes of texting when the conversation would have covered it in 3 minutes, the texting isn't worth it. I call when she texts for that reason.

It's great for having conversations that might last for hours, but only require a minute or two here and there to keep the conversation going.

I know it makes my mother happy as we live in different states and we rarely see each other, she gets to have an all day conversation with me, and I can have a conversation with her, do whatever work I need to do, and talk shit here, all at the same time. What's not to love?
