I just saw a provider who happens to be date-check verified and is in the non-member free list. It says I can join for a trial membership if I use her as a reference. It asks for things like home city, first name (real I assume), last 4 digits of ssn/driver's license. I was always curious to snoop around as a member but didn't feel like paying, I already pay on here.
1. Is being a date-check member really useful? It seems a lot of providers ask for 1 or 2 references anyway.
2. Should I be concerned about privacy issues, and LE gaining access to it? Esp. that I am clearly filling out a form that says I saw an escort, and according to their privacy policy all information you submit is indefinitely stored. I assume they would be logging my IP address with the form, and if LE really wants to, using my real first name and city and last 4 digits of ssn/license they can locate me, never mind paying for it later with paypal or credit card etc.

I'm sure I'm being totally paranoid. One of the same reasons I'm reluctant to go to an agency. I'm still a little new to this whole thing.

I would not do it.  There are other providers who screen without collecting all that.  why take the chance?

I've been with them almost a year and haven't had one issue. While I still pay attention to the  provider who has given a reference to make sure she has a solid reputation I've found that Date-Check simplifies things and eliminates my date having to give me a ton of personal information.

The customer support team seems to run a pretty tight ship and is responsive and aware of what's happening on their site.

Give it a trial run!

I highly recommend it. Your references are online 24x7. It cuts back on all the back and forth with reference checks. Providers can see your ratings in sessions you have had with other providers such as highly recommend and recommend.
