I have some general questions for the hobbyists.

1.  How important are the "rating scores" in reviews to you?

2. If you do value "rating scores," what is your lowest cut-off number for looks and ratings, the point where you start thinking the "rating scores" are too low for you to enjoy yourself sufficiently?

3. If you do not like a providers' pictures that much, but most of her "rating scores" put her at the level of "7 - attractive" to "10 - one in a lifetime," will that convince you to try her, anyway, despite your hesitations?

4. If you consider yourself a hobbyist of very high standards, will you try providers that are beneath your desires, as long as their rates are lower?

For many ladies, ratings scores vary across a range. This is to be expected. At this point in the game,  I've become very picky, and like to see a lot of 9's. But I'm more interested in reading a few reviews from experienced reviewers, getting a sense of what its like to spend time with the lady in question. I do like to see pictures, but they rarely represent the lady as she will appear to me. I've gotten to know quite a few ladies ' and when I view their pictures again afterward, I think, OK, that's her, but that's not quite like I remember her in my mind's eye....

First of all, specific numbers are less important that the reviews which describe the experience.  Clearly some ladies have 6s and 9s, but when you read the reviews, it is clear they would be fun for me to see.  There are certain deal breakers for me and certain great turn ons.  Also, I have gotten to know a number of ladies here who I am just waiting to see because of their sense of humor, intelligence,etc in conjunction with reviews that speak of a great interaction.  Looks are less important.  One of my real favorites is in her 60s.  She looks great to me, but is clearly not in the looks class of some of the women in whom I have no interest.  It is clear, for example, that you would be great fun to see and I really haven;t focused on your pictures that much (though they do show a very attractive lady.) Finally, I hate to spend less time than 2 hours and prefer longer so I like when that is possible.

I base my choices off of several things. I'm not sure what comes first the chicken or the egg but here is some criteria that I base my choices off of in no particular order.

1. Ratings; I tend to look for average ratings between 8-10 for looks and performance. If there are some ratings lower than 8-10 I will go with the majority as YMMV usually applies.

2. Body description; As with everyone we all have our preferences in this department. Mine usually ranges from skinny to athletic though sometimes I venture into average. I also prefer c cups and up.

3. Age; Since mental connection is a big part of hobbying for me I like woman who are over 30. I tend to connect with them better as they are closer to my age and we have more in common.

4. Photos/looks; If there are no photos I won't even bother. There definitely needs to be some physical attraction. I'm not willing to gamble my money if I can't get a good feel for the way a lady looks.

Overall I would say ratings plays a big part of it. I have never gone wrong with women rated over 8 in both departments. I tend to agree with the majority of the reviewers in the end. My method has worked for me thus far seeing maybe 20 providers or so. I have yet to be dissappointed. (knock on wood)

I have seen my share of new ladies. They obviously do not have ratings.

Good ratings are one factor in deciding to see a lady. I like to see lots of 8's and 9's for performance. I will read the 6's and 7's to see when a lady may not be at her best. I have become more picky, and if I don't see a lot of 8's, then I probably wont be overwhelmed with the lady.

To me, attitude is more important than performance. A lady needs a good attitude to have good performance. Lacking an attitude score, I use performance as a proxy. If she has a 10 attitude, and only does the basics, that works for me.

If I don't like a provider's pics, then I don't care what her attractiveness or performance scores are. If I can see good pics of her and I find her attractive, then the attractiveness score is not as important. However, if the score doesn't match the pics, then I see why. Old pics, not their type, etc.

If I am not overwhelmed with the lady, it is not worth seeing her. Unless,... she is running a really good special, and has a really hot body - Then I might be curious just to be with a hot chick. Those times tend to be unfulfilling. You get what you pay for.

I'd say they are important to a degree.  That's why we're all on TER in the first place.  However, I find actually reading the review to be much more informative.  I've seen ladies who on the whole didn't rate that high, but b/c of the actual reviews themselves I saw these ladies and had a great time.

For me, my cut-off score is a 7 on performance.

I always take the "looks" scores with a grain of salt.  However, I do balance the two out between the pictures (which may have just been poorly taken) and the review score.  However, I will say that the pictures themselves do really sway me one way or the other.

I do have to balance my finances and my "hobby."  However, (at least for me) the actual rate isn't what I keep a hard eye on.  Obviously, I wouldn't see a lady beyond my means, but just b/c a lady is "cheap" that doesn't influence me either.

What is actually written in the reviews gives me a better idea of what the lady will be like. If the numbers are cosistantly 5-7, then I don't need to go any farther.

The pictures are not that important to me. I have seen ladies who have password protected pictures, and never even asked for the password. I have seen some ladies who have gotten consistant 7-8 on appearance, but found them to be 8-9 in my eyes. How a lady looks is not as important to me as what she has to say.

I will go to a lady's website, and read the "about me" page. That will usually tell me if I'm going to enjoy her company in the restaurant and sitting on the sofa, and not only in the bedroom.

My playtime is probably not as frequent as most, so I like to make the most of my opportunities by choosing to contact ladies that I might have some common interests with.

This is just a thought and don't know if it holds any merit..
But do you think a lady can kinda' get stuck into her score?  I get for the most part 7's.  When I first began escorting, I wouldn't do much.  I only did CBJ ..no BBBJ, LFK (no DFK), DATY (definately).....your very basic services. And, hence, I couldn't get a score above a 7.  Since then, I have added services like BBBJ and some anal play (not greek but fingers and tongue is okay) and toys but I still get 7's.  I feel like I am stuck there and will always be stuck there.   Like it's a permanent label now or something.  I think of myself as a GFE provider.  And love to laugh and tease and hug and DFK and play and I treat you like you are important to me...because you are.   But how do I break out of the 7 mode that I feel I am stuck in?

The number scores leave much to be desired but I look for consistancy...  one persons 7 might be my 8 so a variance of +/- 1.  Then I get into the actual reviews where I look for compatibility with my preferances.

I'm not that into photos...  but I use a "pass/fail".  I just have to feel the lady is "attractive" to me.  I consider a lady who uses only one or 2 photos (usually stunning) to be suspect.  Often they're not current...  I don't need to see her totally naked or opened wide, but I want to see several views from  different angles to see how she's really built.  

Really, TER is to avoid scams & LE stings...  beyond that it's a matter of preferance & chemistry.

You only have five reviews, and they are only since May. Your numbers (one was an 8) are not bad at all, and every single one of the gentleman said that they would see you again. That's why reading the reviews, rather than relying solely on the numbers, is so important. Be patient, and I'm sure you'll get more good numbers. So far, five gentlemen have enjoyed your company. There will be more.

1. Rating scores are only mildly important to me. One persons "rating of 9 or 10 may be something much less to me, the reverse also being true.

2. Somewhat addressed in #1 but, consistent 5's or less in performance would probably be enough to make me look elsewhere.  

3. No, if I don't find her attractive in her pics there is no way I am going to go see her.

4. No, I don't care how low the rate is, if she doesn't meet my desires/standards I will probably not fully enjoy our session.

So, the content of the reviews is very important.  When a gal provides a service with gusto, that pushes the scores into the 9's and 10's, while another gal with a ho-hum attitude might just get a 7 (or less).

Photos are an important part of the experience too.  I must say that yours are great.  You also give a lot of important information about yourself on your site, and that is a big plus.

Many times I decided to see a provider based upon her posts on this board, or emails sent back and forth with me.  It reveals a lot about her character and that has always led me well.

The first thing I look at is the body of reviews, looking for 8-10 as the average score for appearance.  If I don't see that, I'm pretty much done.  Next, I look at photos, and prefer a site with at least a dozen shots, showing different views.  Specifically, I'm looking to see if there is anything that the lady is hiding...is there a belly, or saggy breasts; maybe a bad boob job.

From here, I move on to performance scores and the reviews that give me a sense of her attitude.  I'll take an occasional 7 here, but only if the text of the review makes it seem like there was a specific problem that I wouldn't expect to repeat with me.

I've veered from this approach on a couple occasions, and have been disappointed.  I know my desires, and I know that I'm pickier than most.

All the gentlemen I see enjoy my company...only 5 gave me a review!  LOL..   hugs!!

The numbers are important to me but not the be-all end all.  I also find that the performance number means much more to me than the appearance number does.

The body of the review is much more important to me than the numbers are.  If the guys are all saying that the gal was fun to be with, friendly etc I am much more likely to give a lady a try.

I have to admit that I am more willing to give a new gal a try if her rate is attractive.

If I had to pick a random number I would say that anything below a seven for performance and a six for appearance would make me hesitant.  That being said, the NUMBER of reviews is important to me and a large number of good ones will outweigh a few bad ones.

Some other things I consider does she post here?  (usually get a sense of personality from posts)
Is she independent (usually better service less volume)
Does she have a website updated with current pics?

1. The performance rating is the only one that matters.

2. Too low for performance would be 5 and under.

3. This question (and the previous one for that matter) seems totally based on "looks" rating, I don't think the rating for looks is any indication of how I would see a provider. Everyone has a wide variety of tastes when it comes to physical attraction.

4. No, I would just wait longer and save up the funds.

I first am intrigued by the lady, either by blogs or posts on forums or just discussed by others. Then I visit her website and see if I am physically attracted to her. Then I read whatever she has written on her site for a further insight into who she is. If all that makes me want to see her, that is when I see her rates and decide if I want to pay what she is asking. I will not ever ask for a different rate.

Beauty is very subjective. That is why there is such a disparity in providers appearance scores in reviews. One persons 10 may be another guys 6. It's kind of like classical music. Some people like Bach while others like Mozart.

Your board presence and just plain curiosity also play roles in whether we would want to see you or not.

Important enough to look at...they do eliminate some ladies right from the start. A) if the first page has rip off on it...thanks makes things simple! B) If the first page is all 10/10 I get nervous or even a majority of 10/10.  As bad as a rip off is...so is a lady that puts herself on a pedestal you can't get her off of.  MHO  C0 I know you didn't ask about this so i am just throwing it in as if looking at the front page of the profile.  If the lady only does OUTCALL I pass.

If ratings are consistantly 6 or under for either looks or performance I have to pass without looking at reviews.  I also believe reviews can be too high for me.  I am a practical person and all 10's scare the hell out of me.  I like 2 hour appointments and if the first hour is spent bringing that models head out of the clouds so we can have that first personable contact...I am wasting my time.

Pictures make the lady REAL and not like looking at a newspaper ad.  I only saw one ladies pictures that scared me away...and that was a simple preference thing(she had too many piercings for my taste)  I think I counted like 18 or 19 of them.

Since I am more comfy with longer dates...cost does play into it in a couple of ways.  I do have a max I will pay per hour, nothing against those ladies I set them for my own personal reasons and do not hold it against those ladies...they do keep a dream alive to some degree.  Every guy loves a special if a lady runs one...I know I have seen a few ladies that are normally outside of my normal price because the girl ran special.  Outside of that if a lady has a layered approach to her pricing, means the cost goes down with the length of session she is far more appealing to me.  If the lady has one rate for every hour I am less likely to inquire.

2. If something about the comments interests me, I will look at the performance ratings, throw out the top and bottom ones, average the rest. If the average is 7 or above I am interested.
3. "Bolt-ons" will turn me off despite anything else. 7-10 in terms of attractiveness are fine. Performance is more important.
4. Not really. There has to be something about them that attracts me. Rates are not enough.

I select providers based on the following criteria.

1. Ability to communicate
2. Quantity of reviews - more is better
3. average rating of reviews - higher is better
4. Skills listed in the profile - more is better
5. Body type 5'6" - 6'1"  120-150 lbs
6. price per hour
7. Internet ads
8. Geographical location
9. Pictures
10. working hours

Item #1 is most important, Item #10 is least important.

A good real picture, or a girl who fits my particular kinks is always interesting; but, bad performance ratings (6 or under) over time, or a donation that's out of my range, will convince me not to see her.

One bad review or low performance rating doesn't mean anything; the reviewer could just be an ass, or might not have clicked that day.

The appearance rating doesn't mean much, if the pictures are real and recent.

I don't arrange dates near the higher end of my donation range unless they have exceptional performance ratings or are otherwise really remarkably attractive; that's probably true for most hobbyists.

Like it or not, asking for a lower donation does tend to make a provider more frequently accessible for the vast majority of hobbyists.

This ratings score is new to me and I don't know how I'd trust it. I can't believe all girls respond the same to all clients.

Before recently I'd always seen girls at the suggestion of friends, and true to form sometimes it worked out, sometimes it didn't. For the simple reason that one man's meat is another's poison.

Nevertheless I saw one girl recently from her photo and she was better than expected(Tamara G). But then, you get a very good idea of her from her website, and I'm sure that it's the same with all ladies. It's not what people say, it's how they say it. And some stunners just don't photograph very well.

there are a lot of good posts above with each having thier own criteria to choose.
I do look at the pictures, her description, how each of the hobbyists described thier experience with her, and the rating.
But if I see a provider that is inconsistent in the reviews and has wide swings from 4 or 5 to 8 and 10. I do question what is going on with this provider. If there is only one or two low scores then I realize it may have been the hobbyist that did not make a good impression on the provider or made her feel not at ease. So I look for consistency in the ratings and higher ones too (of course). Obviously I compare all that info to what I desire in looks for the provider and what I really wish for in services.
