I don't think any apply to me...

....number 2 maybe. But I love my wife very much.
We don't have intimacy due to her low libido caused by medication.
I am hoping to set up a couples date that will re-ignite our sex life.
So I have held off (pleasuring my self and only being with my wife every 3 months or so) for about 6 years.
Finally, I tried this world. I need touch. Getting more intimacy has caused me to be 100% more attentive to my wife in all those little things that make a relationship better. I think she can tell the difference because her eyes are sparkling again.
Also, since I was a teenager my thoughts were that monogamy was too cruel a rule.

Thanks for sharing this article. While I enjoy the overall read, I'm not big on "lists" as many responses have indicated, most people don't fall into just one box. It's kind of like reading a personality description based on horoscope signs.  That said, if I had to pick one, I'm currently mostly an 8.

I will never refer to myself as a hobbyist and quite frankly I abhor the term.  

and I most certainly don't get a "thrill" out of this just because it's, illegal, frowned up, or somehow taboo. I enjoy having sex with beautiful women every bit as much when it's legal as when it's illegal and I refuse to play any of the "cloak and dagger" games that many of you "hobbyists" play.

I think GaG is the same as me . . . . number 9, or . . . .

what should be number 9:  We prefer young pussy over old pussy, and when you're over 50, paying is the easiest way to get started with a new young girl, but we both have enough game left that we can convert a good percentage of them to RL OTC girlfriends.

This list is missing one important category...

Which is the one I fit most into.  I work a ridiculous amount of hours running my business.  Some could say I'm a bit of a workaholic, but I'd really like to retire very comfortably by the time I'm 50.  Between the hustle I really don't have the time to date and have a sexually fulfilling life after working a 14-16 hr day.  I usually only take 2 weeks off a year to recreationally travel and normally have trysts on those trips, but certainly nothing sustainable with my work obligations.  

This gives me the outlet I need to not completely burn myself out to stress of my career while dealing with the drama of being largely absent in a traditional relationship.  Plus it's fun as fuck, isn't it? :)

for the record, I like "whore monger"  and "hooker" too, but occasionally throw in hobbyist and provider just because others don't like it.  

As far as "the thrill" goes, I also consider sex with a new woman thrilling, but just because you get a similar thrill with civvie sex, doesn't negate that part of you is doing it for the thrill.

No matter, if you say you're not a 6 that's fine too. As I said in a separate post, these lists are like horoscope personality traits, except that as a part of a study, these also have an agenda.

My own 8 reasons to seek escorts.

You, like me, are a true hedonist.
