If you were a teenager or college student in the 60's and 70s, love was free, man.  It was a groovy, sex-filled love fest.

Then in the 80s, BAM.  HIV.  Not saying that we couldn't get any play, but it was different.

Somewhere in the 90's and 00s, blow jobs by your high school classmates became popular.  I remember my first one.  I actually fell asleep waiting for her to get the courage to do it.  Now, it's like a right of passage and a way to stay a virgin while still getting your jollies.  Dudes are getting blown all over the damn place now.

At least that's how I see it

After listening to my older brothers' tales of conquest --and seeing the parade of hotties they alwa had around--I couldn't wait for College. At first it seemed great--got a steady girl who couldn't get enough sex. Then about 82 someone somewhere apparently issued a ukase:  No more sex for the rest of the decade.  AIDS certainly was a part of it but I don't know that the youngsters at my college and grad school were in the high risk population.  Still it seemed female legs slammed shut tight faster than you could say 'I love you and I promise not to come in your mouth. '  And things were still decidedly Victorian for much of the early 90s while i was single and actually had a few bucks for the first time. Fast forward to the mid 90s and today and it seems you start getting laid right after Freshman orientation and right through your 20s and 30s in today's hookup culture.  Yeah maybe not every 20 something guy has babes lolling around  his apartment waiting for the next 3some but even if you discount by 50% the stories of rampant free love in the 60s and 70s and FWB sex today you still end up with guys getting a lot more nookie than we schlubs got in the 80s.

Back in my day in HS handjobs were easy to get and fucking came on about the 3rd date, but BJs even from a steady GF took a lot of coaxing and even then, well they sucked at it.

Some of the younger providers I have seen told me they gave BJs to guys that did not even throw out for a burger and fries just because they liked doing it and because they wanted to make guys happy...WTF!

Now it seems like girls are full blown porn stars giving BJs right out of HS so you dads out there better staple their mouths shut if you do not like the idea of Joey stuffing a fat one down her throat lol.

All sex comes with consequences of one sort or another. Money, pain, whatever.

I was a teen in the 60's. There wasn't a lot of sleeping around (that I knew of) at my high school, but it didn't take me long to find girls who would. BJ's weren't common, but I was fortunate to meet my ex, who under my guidance became exceptional at it.

I wish bj's had been as easy to get back then as now.

There was a lot of VD in the 70's. I got gonorrhea twice in a six-month period.

I was a teenager, in the 70's and got no play. While in college, in the 80's, it was "moral to do oral". Of course I went to a private university. Nevermind that I was asked to vacate its premises. I'd been kicked out of better colleges lol

Great dance music came from the 80's. Adam Ant, Duran Duran, Romantics, etc.......

I was a NewWave dance machine lol

You don't drink, you don't smoke, .....what do ya do
Subtle innuendos follow

Lol

...and remember going to my first strip club at 16 and watching the dancer go from guy to guy on the stage letting them eat at the Y.  Later she used the ping pong ball trick and tried to shoot it at us.  Lots of fun times but to answer your question, I didn't participate because I was naive and grossed out by all the dining!

I was a teenager late 60's - early 70's, prior to AIDS.  Playing in a rock 'n roll band (not famous at all), pussy and BJ's were everywhere.  Pregnancy was a big fear not knowing if she was really on the pill.   V.D. was certainly another fear but if you got a dose you'd see the doc, pop some anitbiotics, be out of commission for a couple of weeks, and back in business.  Today, it's lethal

Curly W,

You are a young man to be dependent on providers.

Do you lack looks or game for civvies or both?

You never had sex with a civvie where no condoms are required?

Using condoms is not the norm for boyfriend and girlfriend or husband and wife. You might be the saddest man in the US young man!

I was born in the late 60's and I was a teenager when HIV made its appearance. There was some sex but it was all protected and the girls weren't too free to dole it out. I had better luck in college in the early 90's but somehow it's not the same as now. Girls these days seem a lot more sexually aware and much more open to having fun. Ah, to be young again.

High school in the 70s, college in the early 80s.  Those last two years of high school I probably got more action than in four years of college (I will admit that when it comes to the dating/screwing game, I was a moron back then--when I was young and irresponsible, I should have been doing young and irresponsible things, instead of looking for "true love" as I so often did).

And then (too late for me), there was the era of Bill Clinton, who paved the way for "oral sex isn't sex"--which paved the way for "fingering isn't sex", "anal isn't sex", "toys aren't sex"…etc.

Now?  From what I gather from the kids, you're some kind of freak if you haven't done it by the time you're 14, and you're supposed to have at least "sampled" some of the more offbeat stuff by the time you're 16.

Definitely part of the generation that got a raw deal.  Maybe that's my excuse for why I hobby...

Lots of sexy women in the 60's , 70's:
Even Cpt. Kirk and the producer often made out with the hottie guest stars. ("Captain Quirk" 'biographical')

"Three in the Attic" on the USA channel ; (check out Maggie Thrett; also one of Mudd's Women in "Star Trek")
http://youtu.be/mEfpsZ9B388?t=2m30s

Some of the "outrageous" as panned by feminists lingerie ads by Maidenform (awesome Maria Hansen) circa 1979-1983, then "dried up" into
more conservative ads in the 80's.

ah well, less about sex in the 80's ; more about corporate rock, Schwarzneggar, Bill and Ted's excellent adventures. gross looking Madonna and punk style. worries of nuclear proliferation and higher interest rates. And people starting to get fatter with fast food

Born in late 60's, so the 80's were my HS and College years.

I remember awesome movies, great music (one hit wonders galore), BJ sex, and Da Bears......SNL was a staple

I will agree that some of the movies were awesome, as I tend to try and capture what I missed by using Amazon.com and searching for classic 80s movies, but the music was horrible from what I have heard. Other than a few songs by Warrant and Skid Row,  I hate classic rock.

I do not like the typical bs that those born in the 70s tend to like. Beatles, Floyd, Hendrix, etc. Now, I can appreciate the Eagles and Aerosmith, but that's where I draw the line damnit. Volbeat rules!
