I have been eyeballing some cool destinations.  Morocco looks like a ladies heaven.  To book or not to book that is the question.  😙

It's magical.  Especially Marrakech, Fez and Essaouira.  Friendly people and really good food, too

Been to other places nearby there as well but with the world the way it is is would consider wisely anyplace other than Morocco in the region.

It was a two week excursion so not nearly enough to really absorb the culture but enough to eat all the foods, haha :)
It was a great experience and I suggest anyone go there, hobby or not.

Afro-desiac is 100% correct. I was there recently and it is amazing. Marrakech is out of this world. Unlike the rest of the Muslin world, Morocco is safe. It is safer than Europe as the King rules with an iron fist and does not let people get out of line. The clubs in Marrakech  will blow your mind. It has old world charm and new world features. Women wear burkas, yet J Lo was there last year dancing half naked. Do Fez, Erg Chebbi Dunes, Marrakech, Agadir beach. Casablanca not so much. It is just a big city.

Thank you for your input.  I am always intrigued by new cultures.  Except for the German culture.  They just creeped me out.

I've never been there, though a woman I know lived there for many years and always told me it was wonderful.  My Middle Eastern trips were limited to Egypt, Israel, and Dubai.

And many other places.  Can't we all just get along?
That's a rhetorical question.  The answer is a resounding "NO!'
PS:  The djemaa el fna is the main square of ancient Marrakesh.  It means "the place of the dead."
You're welcome.

I was not referring to you Googling it.  It does sound like a great place to visit.  Have fun planning your trip!
