Ladies, if someone came to see you or gents, if you called a lady and found out that she lived across the street, would you see him/her?

Happened. Didn't take. Too close to homebase for me and couldn't accurately state where he discovered my site.

Heather, I live in the Easter burbs of LA and will not see a ldy who is well received that works in the same town where I live. There is too much of a chance for someone seeing me or recognizing my car.

That's a tough call.  I'd be worried about pissing off someone that close who can observe all your commings (no pun intended) and goings.  Heather, I find it odd that you plaster yourself all over the internet yet your worried about running into a client at Homebase???  I would think he's the one who should be worried about discretion.  If he's ok with it, I guess he's just like any other client.  Just my 2c

Remaining anonymous is part of the protection we as ladies and
gentlemen in this industry value.  Especially in our own neighborhoods and home territory.

Heather, that is an interesting coincidence.  You didn't mention if he lived across the street from your home or your office.  Either of which would be just as unnerving, to say the least.

This reminded me of an incident that happened to me last month.
I was out to dinner with my #1 GFE, we were off-the-clock for the evening, just dinner and companionship. (really, I wouldn't lie) After dinner we had some time to kill before we both had to be home, so we went to the nearby Starbucks for coffee and conversation.  As I was parking, it dawned on me that this particular Starbucks was frequented by my neighbors on a daily if not more frequent basis.  After a few seconds of a panic attack I realized there was nothing to be concerned with, I have no SO.  And if I was in the company of a young lady half my age, it was really nobody else's business.  I did mention to her that we might run into a neighbor or 4 there, it was no big deal.
Since then we have spent a lot of time in restaurants and clubs and it doesn't bother me in the least any more.  

Anyway, I think both of you handle things splendidly!

I dont get it ... This hypothetical is so academic, but then life has a nasty way of being sooooo visceral, hasnt it?  so coming from a from a visceral standpoint to an academic one ...

it's only a problem if he is afraid that someone will see  and perhaps betray his comings and goings (he's married) or  he is  not respectful of yours (he wants to pry into your biz.)  Hasnt been a problem for me, because the fellow in question seems to be a decent guy.

Re trying your papi line,  cum salsa dancing w/me sometime...the real thang is there...you can try out your spanish (watch out the guys will eat up a strawberry big busted gal like you... with a hotcake like you there,  they wont even see me while my blouse falls off while i am dancing, it's already 'old hat" lol.

or... just ask your client ahead of time if he speaks spanish  ... a surprising amount of clients have that sexxxxxy language stashed away in their fanny pack of tricks....

Pure and simple

Just what I need, a wife across the street who sees her hubby exiting my place. I'll get to see him and his wife and kids coming and going every day for years to come. I am not a malicious person and I don't want to see the women on the other end on a daily basis. I think guys shouldn't see women too close to home and likewise. I would rather not be out with my kids and run into a client. If you want to protect your SO, drive at least 5-10 miles. FF, did get the emails love. Just sorta behind. But my behind isn't behind. Would love to go salsa. Let me know what to dress Chewy in. Let me know whether you want me to write an article on your new gay porn site (only kidding, fix that fast!) for lukeford.com.  But where are the pictures? LOL

To let you know, if I were married, I would not pursue this hobby. Like I said "respect yourself and others" but with one stipulation "until they do something stupid".

Personally, that would be way too close for me. Too easy for social interaction that could be uncomfortable even if you're both discrete, ie. school functions, church functions, etc. Even a couple of miles is a little worrisome, you know, too easy for a car to be noticed and people wondering what it's doing in that area. JMO

my favorite provider happens to be about 5 minutes away from where i live. am i concerned? nope. we know all the same restaurants and stores and have both lived in the area for awhile, and so far, we haven't run into each other. do i worry about my car getting spotted in front of where she lives? nope. if i was so worried about getting spotted by my s.o., i'd stay home. since i found such a great provider, and she is close to home, it works out good for me. i don't have to worry about getting home too late from a "business meeting". i find it easier to get home in a few minutes, rather than driving for 30 - 45 minutes after a session.
