Heather, I live in the Easter burbs of LA and will not see a ldy who is well received that works in the same town where I live. There is too much of a chance for someone seeing me or recognizing my car.

That's a tough call.  I'd be worried about pissing off someone that close who can observe all your commings (no pun intended) and goings.  Heather, I find it odd that you plaster yourself all over the internet yet your worried about running into a client at Homebase???  I would think he's the one who should be worried about discretion.  If he's ok with it, I guess he's just like any other client.  Just my 2c

I dont get it ... This hypothetical is so academic, but then life has a nasty way of being sooooo visceral, hasnt it?  so coming from a from a visceral standpoint to an academic one ...

it's only a problem if he is afraid that someone will see  and perhaps betray his comings and goings (he's married) or  he is  not respectful of yours (he wants to pry into your biz.)  Hasnt been a problem for me, because the fellow in question seems to be a decent guy.

Re trying your papi line,  cum salsa dancing w/me sometime...the real thang is there...you can try out your spanish (watch out the guys will eat up a strawberry big busted gal like you... with a hotcake like you there,  they wont even see me while my blouse falls off while i am dancing, it's already 'old hat" lol.

or... just ask your client ahead of time if he speaks spanish  ... a surprising amount of clients have that sexxxxxy language stashed away in their fanny pack of tricks....

Personally, that would be way too close for me. Too easy for social interaction that could be uncomfortable even if you're both discrete, ie. school functions, church functions, etc. Even a couple of miles is a little worrisome, you know, too easy for a car to be noticed and people wondering what it's doing in that area. JMO

my favorite provider happens to be about 5 minutes away from where i live. am i concerned? nope. we know all the same restaurants and stores and have both lived in the area for awhile, and so far, we haven't run into each other. do i worry about my car getting spotted in front of where she lives? nope. if i was so worried about getting spotted by my s.o., i'd stay home. since i found such a great provider, and she is close to home, it works out good for me. i don't have to worry about getting home too late from a "business meeting". i find it easier to get home in a few minutes, rather than driving for 30 - 45 minutes after a session.
