Especially on laptops typos make people (me at least) feel pretty ridiculous.

I get an impression of the intellect and maybe the education of the writer....typos happen...but there is an edit function for 24 hours....but it is a good indication sobriety and intellect.....I for one like the train wreck of broken english, misspellings and nonsense that pass as posts....especially the late night drunken rants some are prone to post.

A spell checker would be great, but I doubt the software supports it.

Here is a work-around that I sometime use - compose your post in Word, or some other program that has spell check.  Once you are satisfied that all spelling and grammer errors are fixed, paste it into your new post.  This has kept me from looking like a complete idiot many times!

I just downloaded the latest and greatest from Mozilla. The spell check works great!

Well if a t is left off of this~as in This body, breasts, etc, it might mean that I am up late and typing on a CRUMMY keyboard!!!!!! And would like a spellcheck, because I would challenge my intellect agianst most people any day of the week.  SPELLCHECK please!!!!!!
