The top 100 is a pointless piece of fluff that serves no useful purpose.

A gal's full written reviews are the most useful tool on TER for deciding who you want to see. A number based on a mathematical compilation is really not much help.

I have been looking at the top 100 list both nationally and locally and wondered if the ratings are slanted in favor of the girls with fewest reviews. If a provider has only 5 to 15 reviews and all are 9s and 10s then they would have a very high average. However over time and after 100 plus reviews a girl is likely to encounter a few clients who do not rate her as high thus lowering the overall average.

I wonder if a constant could be included in the ratings to control for the wear and tear of experience. For example multiple the average score by a constant like 1.1, 1.2 etc depending on the total number of reviews an provider has achieved. For example in Phoenix the top 10 have 25 or fewer reviews with the exception of Brooke Banks (I need to see her.). Six of the top 10 have fewer than 10 reviews. If you include a multiplier or constant to determine the overall average it provides some control. Some excellent provider like Arielle Lace find themselves far down the list because of their early youthful inexperience.

I wonder what others think. This is not a critical problem because you can just scroll down through the reviews.

and as pointed out by BG57 it really has no purpose, accept, I am starting to see ladies refer to being in the top 100 in their advertising.  The OP was absolutely spot on, with his comments about Phoenix providers. Mabye the minimum number of reviews should be upped to 10.

how many reviews that list is based on...I never decide who to see based on reviews only so if the gal has 1 or 20 does not make any difference to me....

Top 10, 100 do not mean anything because in hobbying like in many other things involving people all is subjective.
