It's absurd, maddening, and frustrating waiting for 3 full days for someone to approve a review from regular trusted top reviewers.  The wait time is way way too long. Reviews should be approved in 24 hours or less, and if that is not doable then TER is woefully lacking or short on trained STAFF.  Regular member reviewers with 20 or more posts should be approved either automatically OR approved in less than 24 hours. I understand newbie reviews need more scrutiny- fine - but don't punish the top guys on the site.

Yes, I know this has been suggested before by others. It was a good idea then and now. It's time for TER to act on this and improve and expedite board and review service.

they treat all reviews the same..giving preference to guys with scads of reviews is silly..i have over 20 reviews..i am not complaining..i had one review approved in six hours..most take days..i see no real urgency to get them approved faster..you just go in the pile with the rest of them..i really cant see making a bunch of piles improving anything or making it faster..

There is no reason or excuse it should take 3 days for review approval. Top reviewers should get reviews approved either automatically or in less than 24 hours. Most sites reviews go up in REAL TIME without the waits and hassles.

PPH, I'm not defending TER, but what's the big deal?

what's the added benefit to you to have them approved quickly,  unless you are using them for VIP status? If so, then you can't really be picky for a service you aren't paying for. If you are paying for VIP service, I don't remember seeing where they are guaranteeing turn around time. 3 days isn't bad at all, but that all depends on what your expectantion is and if that expectation is based on reality or something you came up with.

Writing reviews is paying for VIP.  Those running the site give multiple payment options and one of them is writing reviews.  Ask yourself what the value of the site would be with 800,000 less reviews.  It's not cash, but it's still an adding of value.  What PPH is getting at if I understand correctly is that poor customer service is never a good thing, even if the customer isn't bothered by the wait.  Those in customer service should always strive to do better.  Sadly, so few do.

And why focus on only half the message? There was a whole part in there about managing expectations, did you just not read that far?

It is better to have quality reviews than bad ones like other sites. Also the reviewer staff is taking time to make sure the scores are right and url's are correct. That is what makes this site so valuable and top for review sites.
