If a profile is down, there is usually a good reason.  When a provider has left the business (inactive) then her history should be made inactive too.  She may want to leave the past in the past.

While it's still possible to look at older reviews where the Provider is deemed to be "inactive" (by clicking on a review from a reviewer's list), their profiles are unavailable.  I also noticed that each Provider has a number reference visible in certain areas of the website, but no way to link to them.

It would be nice to see these profiles (together with their list of reviews) again.  An "inactive" pop-up or whatever could be added.  Of course, if the profiles are "inactive" due to Provider request, that would be the exception.

"Inactive" doesn't always mean she's left the business, often it seems an arbitrary designation applied to Providers who haven't been reviewed in a long time.  Reviews can still be accessed through searching the reviewer, for example, but her profile (and therefore the link to her other reviews) is inacessible.

I understand about those who have left the business or have asked for their reviews to be pulled.  I'm talking about the other ones.
