My interpretation of the "she just laid there" performance rating is that the provider was not into the session and just went through the motions--I don't take it literally.
Every time I have submitted a review this bothered me. Wasn't sure why, but this time I thought about it a little more and realized that all the other performance ratings are suggestive of the quality of the session, while this one indicates some specific behavior. I can imagine that a 4 might be appropriate for a number situations where the provider was actually very active, causing a reviewer to be thrown off by the description that goes with it, and he might even be inclined to select 3 or 5 instead, feeling that it would be a "lie" to choose 4.
Let me suggest "disappointing" as a replacement description. And while I am at it, I'll also suggest that you replace "5 - Average" with "5 - just OK" because it is obvious that the "average" performance rating is well over 5!

A rating of 3, 4 or 5 mean the same to me - not very good! The descriptions next to the numbers are just fun little phrases. Don't take life so seriously!
while being a pit petty, you have got to agree that his point is valid. I mean, it is the only rating that implies some kind of specific behavior.
don't you guys ever respond to these policy issues any way except defensively? Obviously somebody LIKED it or wouldn't have been there in the first place!
That performance ratings average above "average" is not necessarily either paradoxical or proof of ratings inflation. People who write reviews here tend also to read them, and to select providers accordingly.
What I find most objectionable about the label for a performance rating of 4 is that it uses "laid" as an intransitive verb.
I like "She just laid there." It is a quality statement about her performance. And quite fitting when you see a provider who exhibits this level of service:
