From a hobbists standpoint , having an ad calendar instead of tediously scrolling through the ad section of the discussion boards would make it much easier to navigate and find a provider. From a providers standpoint, I'd assume it would be easier to get found that way as well.

I like this idea also.

A lot of us ladies post a calendar page on our website and we actually use it and keep it up to date.
But it does require reading though...

I think he means just scrap the ad boards in favor of a calendar which I think is a good idea, but I highly doubt it will happen.
We would make the entries on the calendar the same as an ad like the Date Check calendar feature...except a real calendar.

events.  But it will take someone at TER to keep up with every post on every ad board and keep the calendar up to date.  Not an easy task and if it is not 99.99% accurate, that will cause lots of problems and people will stop using it.

You would get the gals TER profile, or URL, or both.

There would also have to be a section for specific info like what cities, etc for the boards that cover regions, like New England, etc.

Hey Kelly,

I have encountered a number of provider's websites that do NOT keep their calendars up to to date.

A few times, a provider will advertise on TER on one of the Regional Ad boards, mention something in their ad about going to their website to check their calendar.

I go to their website...

What happens? There's a calendar there, alright... but it has NEVER been updated. Duh! I am saying to myelf... "Why did this provider just waste my time?"

I feel like responding back, "Hey provider, have YOU checked your website lately?"

Sometimes, that can be a deal breaker.

And some gent's don't know how to click on a button to move the calendar to July, August, et cetera.
Also blank spaces on a calendar, for me, mean I'm at home and available which is all posted on my calendar page.
Reading is fundamental, ya know.

Scrap the ad boards completely in favor of a calendar. I like fisher's idea about each calendar entry with a website URL... Or a link to reviews... Come on, let's get it done...plz TER.

I agree that when you post in certain cities, your ad is off the front page in a day or two, which makes it rather pointless. How many guys look past the first or second page? Though a great idea, it takes too much bandwidth to give each member a personal calendar or to post one big calendar with a bazillion names all on the same day.
