Sounds much much easier to just keep them as they are on the ISO boards. Makes sense to me that ISO's go on the ISO board. Local board is for local stuff. ISO should be outliers, not just somebody too lazy to look up brunetttes in their area.
The local boards seem the logical place to put up these messages as it only makes sense that people in the locality would be the ones interested in responding to same.
To have the ISO messages moved to the ISO Board often ends up with an ISO message missing the city where the searcher is seeking leading to confusion.
If this means that the ISO Board is left without a mission, I say, so be it.
"We can all debate this until the cows come home, but it is really up to TER to decide what stays and what goes. The problem here is inconsistency. We do have an ISO Board and ISO posts should be posted/moved there. That's what that board is for. The solution is that either all of the ISO posts be moved there or none of them. In the alternative, the ISO Board can be eliminated all together. If it is only going to be used selectively its value is mediocre at best, just as it is now".
I have to somewhat agree with both you and PS about elimination of that board but there will also be a downside. With 25 threads to a page, legit subjects and threads could be dropped off the first page due to lazy hobbyists and hobbyists fishing because they are too cheap to buy VIP status.
Again, if all ISO posts are put on that board, then the problem would be solved. The posts that say "airport", well they can just elaborate on the thread or a "mod" can add the location to the subject line of the post.
In any case, since all ISOs have by necessity a need to be tied to a region, I don't see why regional boards shouldn't be the place for them.
If the number of ISOs becomes an issue and start to knock other posts off the board prematurely (Which I don't think is the case.), then a special regional ISO board for that particular region could be started just as TER started separate regional ad boards a few years ago to keep posts from being prematurely buried.

Have postings for ISO and they stay up. It is already being done on the local boards on a daily basis. Never quite understood the ISO board when it is easier to do the local board.
When they started the ISO board, a few years back, they wanted all ISO posts there. The local mods were supposed to move all ISO posts off their regional boards to the ISO board. Some of the mods of the slower boards used their own discretion and allowed some ISO posts to stay.
Since they did away with the mods, they rely on "report a post," so it is very inconsistant now. If someone reports it, then it gets moved. If not, it stays. I'm sure certain regional boards have more folks with itchy "report a post" fingers than others
