The P&R Board had no impact on those who chose not to read it. Even for those who read it, it had no material impact on anyone. How does ditching the P&R Board benefit anyone, particularly you?

I agree (with cks, that is). I saw very little or no carryover of animosity from P&R to the non-P&R boards I participate in. Even AFTER the closure of P&R, I have seen the occasional (or even rare) P&R-like name calling on non-P&R posts but it's about the same rate as it was BEFORE closure of P&R.

Gotta agree with Imp here. Carryover is minimal or even rare. I haven’t noticed the closure of the P&R board having any impact on that aspect of conversation here.

Because the so-called toxic behavior found there has no impact on conversations on other boards.
