Hello Kendra,

I do believe that TER does allow the TER logo to be placed on the 2nd page. The logic of that is exactly what you mentioned that the actual 'Enter' page doesn't really count since it's only for age verification, thus the 2nd page of the website is considered the 'Main Page'.

Do a search on TER logo and you'll find a lot more info on that.

I have a comment. You say the logo or banner should be on the enter page..isn't that really inappropriate since that page is to deter anyone under 18 from entering? There should never be a link to an adult site on any enter page, is my opinion. It would be defeating the purpose of trying to protect someone under the age of 18 from viewing inappropriate material. Clicking that link would bring them right here to TER where there is an abundance of things they should not be seeing...ie...pictures of us with barely any clothing or even nudity.

That guideline should definitely be rethought as it actually invites underage viewing of TER.

I've noticed many ladies are getting their ads taken down for bogus reasons and by the time they contact admin here and point out the issue why their ad should not have been taken down...by the time the ad goes back up, it's been pushed down 2 or 3 pages and for touring ladies this can be an issue.

It appears that perhaps competitors are wrongly reporting ads just for this reason to eliminate their competition temporarily and get a leg up on them.  As it is not allowed for ads to be heckled or commented on there should be some type of safety net in place to prevent this "game playing" to keep going on with our ads!  If others are not reporting ads, then why are they being taken down for incorrect reasons?

It is my opinion that a provider ad should not be taken down until the reported infraction has been verified and not the other way around as it is now.  OR if an ad is wrongly reported and taken down incorrectly; it should be bumped to the top of the page when it has been determined to be OK and restored to the Provider Ads boards.

Thanks for listening

Hopefully we can address the issues you have stated.

First, we're not sure how you know ads are being taken down for bogus reasons/incorrect reasons as the reasons are not posted for everyone to see.

Second, we have less than an average of 6  'Report A Post' per day on ads.  The ones that are reported are usually for 2nd ad wihtin 7 days or TER logo is missing/not working.  We do verify if the reason is legit before taking a ad down.

As to why ads are removed or unapproved, the main reasons are (and even the most savy provider makes these mistakes from time to time):

- Touring ad: the dates are not in the subject line ("until this weekend" or "end of week" does not count)

- The TER logo is not clickable - when the logo is clicked it should link back to TER; sometimes there is text next to the logo because the webmaster has been unsuccessful at getting the logo to work; we will usually accept this

Often a logo is clickable one day and then maintenance is done on a site and the logo is corrupted.  So yes, you may have been doing this for months/years with no problem, but things do happen that you may not be aware of (why would you click every logo/banner on your site each time you post an ad?)

- The TER logo is missing or somewhere that requires us to look through multiple pages or banners on a page to find it.  The guidelines clearly state it should be on the Enter Page or the About Me page and should be easily seen.  We are reviewing these guidelines  and sometimes we may allow a logo on a different page.

Do we sometimes miss something?  The answer is yes.  We have over 2500 new posts to read daily and take action.  If your ad is not approved or is taken down, and it is not clear as to why, ask.  We will take the appropriate action (this varies from case to case).

If a minor is looking at your site do you think he will stop at the first page? Of course not. He will be going straight to your photo page not clicking on logos.
That under/over 18 tab is worthless and we all know that.

Saying that it invites underage viewing of TER is a stretch at best. TER is a public site and easily found anyhow.

I completely agree with you, but for us, we can at least feel like we are not adding to their underage activities. I know thats like nailing spaghetti to a wall but we can only hope.
