Re: Actions tab- ingnore iser Sure this could probably work
Never tried so can't be sure
I know that "Ignore" works in the Forums, but I think the OP was probably asking about filtering results from searching Reviews. Not every Provider with a Profile has a handle and not every Provider with a handle has linked it to her Profile. Forum "ignore" wouldn't work in Profiles / Reviews. . I think the OP means that he searches Reviews ("New Reviews" or even a more detailed search) and frequently gets a list of Profiles of Providers he has previously "screened" to match his tastes or interests or to screen out those he knows to be fakes or inaccurate (e.g., search Age: 26-30, but he knows who on the list doesn't come close to that). He wants to put those on "Ignore." I can't think of a way to do that, at the moment, unless you can find some truly unique searchable feature in the database.
I would like to suggest to TER we be able to hide profile we are not interested in seeing. Of course we could unhide too, but I hate revisiting a profile I already have viewed and passed on. If you agree please like this post or leave a comment agreeing with this post. “yes”. Will do.

That should be unique to the provider (until they change their name and post new pics...). Seems like the functionality would be nearly identical to the boards ignore poster so might be a case of reusable code.
I'd suggest a time-limited mark, perhaps matching the time limit for delayed reviews. If a review is "too old" to be relevant after some set time, so would the Hide Profile mark be. This way, frequent searchers would be bothered far less often by matches already considered and discarded, yet providers would not be permanently locked out of consideration.
