Suggestion and Policy

Or add a "dislike" feature! I bet that button would get more use! eom

There are threads with 400 reads or more without a single "like" and most who use it have a single "like" (self liked).

It is a totally useless feature for an adult board.

but it does on the threads where there is debate, and sometimes it's interesting to see the likes on any two given sides, even if the people who 'liked' it don't speak up.

It's something I pay attention to, anyway.

I am quite curious to know why the alias on the suggestion???

I never understood it. If you don't want to read someone's post, don't click on it! How hard is that? Do you really need a button to help you do that?

Anyhow my "dislike" button was said in sarcasm, but yet there is a point. If we can "like" a post, shouldn't we be able to "dislike" a post? Using the "ignore" button as a "dislike" button does not work because if you ignore someone, you will ignore all of their posts. I don't want to ignore a user, but I may dislike some of their posts.

I do realize your post was probably said in Sarcasm too.:)

I like "like" too. In fact, I  think may be it should be enhanced to show who liked it.

robotic and useless. I can't say how many people are clicking as opposed to replying, but even on threads with multiple replies I rarely see more then 4 likes.

As far as my alias, you may continue to be curious :-)

over and over again, which often happens when there is a 'pile on.'  The like button helps keep the pile on clean.  In theory anyway.

Nonetheless, I am completely comfortable disagreeing with you, even if I don't know who you are.  lol
