There is still no way of knowing if the recipient can read, or has read your PM.
There are some roundabout ways, but it's not 100%. If you send a PM to an alias, then he/she can read it, because all aliases are VIP. If you send a PM to someone who has a new review approved (1 within the past 15 days, or 2 within the past 30 days, or 3 within the past 45 days etc.,) then they can read it because they have active VIP due to their reviews. If you send a PM to a provider who has her username linked to her profile, she can read it, because she has the Limited Provider VIP.
I have asked this before but was aleays told it might be handled in an upgrade. I just thought I would ask again in light of the recent upgrade.
Only VIPs can send or read IMs. However when a VIP sends one he gets no indication as to whether the recipient can read it. That was the case for a long time. Has this been addressed or is it likely to be in the future?
Note I am not looking for universal read write privilege. Just a way for the VIP to know if it is likely to be read.
