Been seeing a provider when she comes to town on a regular basis  She called to let me know that she was coming to chi town before Xmas..  I thought TER would be a great tool for her and helped her sign up.  I made the mistake of letting her use my iPad to post an add. A few day ago I was denied access to the reviewers only page and was told the reason why... (sharing a computer device) This was an honest mistake, we didn't realize we were violating policy,  but the bottom line is READ TERs POLICYs... Great Tool for all of us! Let's have Fun everyone!

Often we are hanging out with our ATFs and see their laptop or pad so think, hey, why not check in on good old TER.

How did they know she used my iPad? If TER can track this BIG brother is EVERYWHERE!

...I turn on my ipad, she logs in to TER with her log in (on my ipad) isn't it her IP address that comes up?The IP is not the device but the service it's connected to, right?

A hotspot on my phone so she could use my internet instead of the hotels internet. TER banned me from the provider only forum saying I let her use my device. Now ain't that some boooolshit?

That's what they just did to me. I totally under stand what they are trying to prevent and I agree with them, but each case should be handled Individually.  Nikki Magic used my iPad one time to post an add.  We didn't surf the sight we just posted an add. Oh well rules are rules...

...I just never gave much thought to the device I always thought it was the connection/internet provider or whatever the term is.
