What you say makes no sense.  How would posting a review under an alias make the review any less or any more accurate?

This came in about 3-4 years ago.  It was very controversial, but it seems to be working out OK

OK, so someone posts a review using an alias.  What does that really do?  The lady who the review was written about knows who wrote it based on the events contained in the review.  You have insulated yourself to a certain degree from any blowback.

On the flip side, your review history becomes somewhat distorted.  You use your normal handle for only the good reviews and the alias for all the negatives?  

So, some person who is doing their research come across your review of a lady, you're potentially the only one who gives her a low score.  Some will discount it because  a.) your the only one to do so and b.) when they see the other reviews you've written under an alias that are negative, they'll be left with the impression that you either have poor taste (which they will fault you for) or that you're impossible to please.  

And we solved this problem about reviews how?

So, no, you can't PM a dead alias, but is that any different than trying to PM a handle who doesn't have VIP anymore?
