I don't think TER needs to be on a social networking site that is VERY popular with children.  IMHO I believe it will bring attention for the wrong reasons to TER and everyone on it.

Please lose the Twitter account

Children, soccer moms, and LE LIVE on Twitter.......and TER boards are open forums...with very graphic conversations and photos.

This is right up there with not requiring people have have paying memberships to go into chat.... anyone can go to chat......so we could be talking to a child in chat and not know it....

TER this is HORRIBLE!!

There are millions of adult oriented material on Twitter as we speak if TER wants to make a twitter then  so be it.

You guys don't think that TER isn't mainstream already?

Somewhere along the line TER seems to have become far too interested in being mainstream and far too careless about remembering that we are all involved in an illegal activity that requires the discretion.

Radio ads, Twitter and recent coverage in the media are all BAD for the hobby. Even if they may be good for TER's bottom line right now the more mainstream this site becomes the less effective it will be for the people who use it in the future.

TER is a known entity and however they wish to market, (radio, print ads and now social media) brings in more users and thus more possible clients.

the save/protect the children issue its a non issue. Twitter ( and most social networking sites) have a TOS and who ever is tweeting will have to adhere to those rules or risk getting their account deleted, just like everyone else on there.

Hello

I don't like the idea of TER being more public because of Twitter but They (TER) are making a smart marketing move.
This well get more traffic to the site. That does mean Good, Bad or indifferent.  We as providers and hobbiest just have to screen better to keep all safe.

Just my $.02

What we do is illegal, more attention means the possibility of more LE monitoring.

Agree 100%. The Craig's List experience should be a reference here. Additionally a conservative politician trying to make a name might find TER & others like it a great career move.
