I was unable to access TER for over a month, and thought the site was down. The nice "support" people here e-mailed me yesterday to tell me I was missed. When I told them I couldn't access the site, they sent me a reply about a problem between Earthlink/ Mindspring and TER.
I tried a few things and here is what finally worked. I used the Google Public DNS, which is free. Here is the link to follow: http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/ . It may seem intimidating, but it's not. I use Windows XP and if I can do it, I think almost anyone can.
