In fact, they are, but you'd never know it.

Before every post was Syched to West Coast time, so it was easy to see who posted what and when.

Now, everyone gets to select their own time, except that most people never get around to doing it, so you never know when someone posted something.

It sucketh, royally.

Sorry if this has been discussed ad nauseum but is there nothing that can be done to keep message board posts in the order that they were posted?

Posts out of order make it very difficult to follow a 'conversation'.

The timestamps are off because people select therir own times as mrfisher said. So don't look at the time stamps. But the posts do go up in the order they are received, from top to bottom of the thread. If someone is moderated their post will not go up right away, but when it does go up it will show up in the spot where it should have been if it was approved reght away. So sometimes you will look at a thread, that you looked at earlier and see a new post up higher higher in the thread instead of lower, but that is probably due to moderation, as the post was actually submitted earlier.

I'm unmoderated and it seems my post might end up anywhere. But I'll pay closer attention and see if I can make sense of it.  Thanks
