We are thinking about combining the regional ad and ISO boards into one board for each city. We need everyones input on if this a good or bad thing.

For myself I would NOT like to see that happen.  There are so many ads (many of which are spam for other pay sites, etc) as it is now that it would leave little room for the iso/info section.  Personally, I don't want to wade through a lot of things I'm not interested in to get to what I might find worthwhile.  If you're considering a change in this area at all I'd like to see the spammers (ie: Mandy, Rachel, et al) who post so frequently eliminated altogether---but please keep the two boards separate.

I would prefer to have the spammers removed as greywolf suggested. Also how about putting in a rule that the ads have to have a city or state in their subject line. It is a pain to read a great ad and find out it is for clear acroxx the country. Especially as you usually have to go to the link to find out where the provider is located. Even then it can be a challenge.

ISO and advertisements should be separate from one another.

I agree that it's better to keep the ISO and ad boards separate.  To be honest, I rarely go to the ad board because not everyone has a link, or the ads look like spam.  If that's as good as it gets, it's better to go directly to Cityvibe, in my opinion.  Good suggestion here about having city in subject line of posts too.  And cracking down on spam is always a good idea. The ISO board ought to be a great resource for providers too.  They can see what the guys want, and then plan their marketing strategy accordingly.
