Seems a next button would eliminate going back to the thread and then opening another post. It takes a little while for pages to load sometimes even on a fast box.

I could see that.

I just wanted to see all the post in a thread by scrolling down, and once I caught up with the flat/tree hyperlinks I was good. There is a lot helpful on this site, it just takes some time to find some of it.
