You could have had 1,500-1 odds on amateur Paul Dunne who...

This would be a big story, as big as if Jordan Spieth would win his third straight major of the year.  Twenty-two year old Dunne, from Ireland, played four years of not too spectacular college golf at Alabama-Birmingham.  Poor fella - if he wins he can't collect the $1.8 million winner's share because he's an amateur.

t's a shame that the final round is today, when most of us are at work (or at least posting on TER). The leaderboard is packed....prob. 20 golfers within 2-3 strokes.

I'm rooting for Spieth, but Dunne would be an incredible story.  There are so many great young players in today's game that it will be interesting to see who emerges on top over the next decade

I didn't have a penny on it, but I was rooting for Zack in the playoff, if for no other reason that he's American. As good a reason as any I suppose. Well, not as good a reason as if I had money on it of course, but the only reason I could think of. lol

I'm happy for Zack, good dude. Whoever got him at 85-1 will receive a nice stimulus package.
