3 pretty impressive wins without two starters but all this is going to do is make the Purple and Gold more deadly when the Mamba returns.

and he said the difference between the Cavs and Lakers is the systems they run. The Cavs, as do all the other teams in the NBA run isolations, pick and rolls, screen rolls, etc. With the Cavs, Lebron is the central figure. If he doesn't score, the Cavs can't win. The Lakers run the Triangle. The ball goes into the low post and then the movement, spacing, cutting begins based on angles. Granted the Lakers are deep talent-wise, but I believe the system more than anything helped them win these last 3 games without Kobe and Bynum. And to think the Lakers are the only team that runs the Triangle. You would think someone would copy Jackson after he wins 10 NBA titles.

Yeah, you would think so, wouldn't ya?  But Jackson is a master at it, and if the rest of the NBA wants to continue to make him look good, so be it!

the triangle, that no one has come up with a way to defend it. Sure, it's complicated, but even the best systems have flaws.

but it is the talent depth that keeps the Lakers where they are.

The Lakers have four players that are probably in the top fifteen in talent but two of them do not play hard every night.

LO is a monster on the court....but only when one of the stars is missing. Bynum is hit or miss but I am hoping it is just his age.

Add in a very deep bench and voila...should be another ring for the purple and gold.

Almost makes it worth watching the game.

I like to think I am as well  I think sports fan should poke fun at opposing teams.  Why the hell do you think I'm always on the Laker fans ass??  And then we have the Cowboy haters who get Sarah and I at every opportunity lol.  It's all in good fun.





And I do see Laker fans.  They are usually ravished.
