I hope there are some true football fans out there; yes that would be soccer.  For the second time in three years our USA Men cannot get a fair shake from the referee when we play Italy.  I dont know if the ref gets caught up in looking at admittedly some good looking Italian men but sorry playing a man down today and two men down in Germany has not given our lads a fair chance.  Next time let them play; they are physical and we are physical.  I hope the next time its 11 on 11 so we can prove that when we play with passion we can get the result in one game against anyone.  We are a long ways from being ready for South Africa next year and we have a ton of lineup problems but the lads deserved better today.  Let's see what team shows up Thursday against the might Brazilians and the 95m euro man.

The red card was a little harsh. Yellow more appropriate. A red card was probably warranted on the PK but none given.

We had a ton of finishing chances in the first half that we didn't take advantage off.

We may qualify for the WC but this is not a WC ready team and leaves much to be desired.

Really disappointed with the performances against El Salvador, Costa Rica, and at home against Honduras. These are matches we should be winning pretty handily. On the other hand, I would rather be us than Mexico right now.

Hey, most of us may not be into soccer or cycling or whatever, but there's plenty of room on here for us all.  If you have something more interesting to say, start a thread.
