All season long in every game , Peyton's silent ego strove for passing records , and more passing records , especially so against inferior teams .
If Denver had put in a second or third third string quarterback and forced 37 year old exhausted Peyton to rest , when the game against an inferior team was clearly won , Peyton wouldn't have been totally worn down and too powerless to focus , starting with the first snap of the Super Bowl , soon to follow with two interceptions and a fumble .
Now Peyton has the dubious honor , all time record for most play off games lost . Other than the The Seahawks power , that's my take on the Broncos embarrassing performance .
Wow...after all this time you still aren't getting any brighter.
Your "thesis" is so ridiculous and full of circumstantially formed conclusions (or joking) that it doesn't deserve reply...and it also is obviously from someone who is gloating (as many have when Brady has lost). But here goes anyway...
Tim Tebow may be a nice guy, but as a quarterback (excuse the juvenile statement here), he couldn't hold Peyton Manning's jock. Tebow had one lucky playoff game against an overrated Steeler team. Manning will be a first round HOF'er, and not just for his stats. How good would Denver have been this year without him and what he brought to the team? They sure as hell didn't win this year because of their defense. Maybe some of those easy games, he was trying to make his teammates believe in their strength as a team?
Ask Tom Brady how good of a QB Manning is sometime.
