I can't see this team winning a championship anymore. They will be contenders, but the reality is that unless they make a serious free agent splash for someone like Dwight Howard or something (which likely can't happen payroll wise or Howard wise) who has younger legs at the end of the game and who can score better than the youngsters on the Celtics now, this was probably as far as this team will go now.

It will be interesting to see what Ainge does with personnel now. I don't think any Celtic fan is happy with the Perkins trade, but I doubt at this point that it would have made enough of a difference for them to beat the Heat.

He'll need a team that can compete again the Heat and Knicks in the playoffs. It's almost a given the Celtics will make the playoffs each year. But then the trouble begins,  how will they overcome either of these teams.  BTW, it reminds of my Phoenix Suns. All those years in the playoffs, usually winding up with a lose to the Lakers. .
