I did not see his hall of fame acceptance speech but read some articles and it seems that he dissed everybody except the pope and if the pope had anything to do with basketball MJ would have insulted him too.

I'd like to hear your opion.

But I wouldn't describe it as you do.

Michael Jordan is a winner. He admitted it. He did show a sense of humor. Like having the high school player who was picked instead of him, attend the ceremony. Maybe you can pull it up online. I enjoyed it.
Every inductee had wonderful stories to share.

If Michael Jordan seemed arrogant, I'd say he has reason. He is in a class by himself.

Read this article to help you understand just how much he liked winning and how competitive he was.

I kept waiting for him to acknowledge Charles Barkley, who's one of his closest friends, but he never did. Also, he hardly mentioned his Dad at all. Probably wouldn't have been able to hold it together if he had.

My dad said it was the worst speech he has ever seen at a Hall of Fame induction.

He can be a real douche bag. I was surprised that he didn't mention that he used to routinely slap Will Perdue around, seemingly for fun.

After listening to Robinson, Stockton, Sloan and Stringer, Jordan's speech was unfocused and uninspiring. He just rambled on and on and on, and spent most of the time trying to settle old scores. I have no idea why he had to go after Jeff Van Gundy and Bryon Russell, and the comment he made to his kids at the end was pathetic. Is he the best basketball player ever, well he is the best 2 guard ever. You can't say he was better than Jabbar, Bill Russell, Chamberlain or even Oscar Robertson. I realize athletes are extremely competitive, but a little humility goes a long way with me.
