a bind over this post. I will qualify my position within some bounds. It's not Hall of Fame rankings or even 4 or five years but as I see it right now, this year. Here we go. Steelers 12 - 4, Packers 10 - 6.

Both of the teams have a great impact player. Someone who can turn a game by their play alone. One is well known and the other is kind of UTR, sort of.  Names: Troy Polamalu , Steelers and Clay Matthews, Packers.

Troy 63 tackles,   1 sack,     1 force fumble   and 7 interceptions.
Clay 80 tackles, 13.5 sacks, 2 force fumbles and 1 interception.

They play different positions so their numbers aren't apples to apples. The point is they are both big impact players. Opposing offenses have to account for them in preplanning, and execution of a game plan. Quarter backs have to know where they are and who is assigned to block them.  Clay is almost always double teamed and Troy can change a play call by an offense at the line pre snap just by his position on the field. It would be hard to pick between the two.

Now let's consider Quarter Backs:
G   Comp   Att    Pct     Yds      TD  INT  Sacks   Rushing  Att   TD  Fum   Lost
Ben          12   240     389  61.7   3,200    17    5      32         176      32     3      7        3
Rogers      15  312      475  65.7  4,434    28   11      31         356      64    4       4        1

These guys are close, really close. WHAT'D he say? Yea, Aaron Rogers and Ben Roethlisberger are both very close in numbers, ability and accuracy.  Rogers is probably better at rushing than Ben. He is a lot more mobile and has the ability to run the ball although their respective rushing percentage rounded is almost exact. Both can escape from the pocket and extend a play.  You tell me who is best?

Let's see Pittsburg Steelers against the Green Bay Packers. I was really hoping for a Steelers Patriots matchup but as compensation I'll settle for this Super Bowl matchup.

Edited the post for those who can't see past their niose.
