Stricker is a class act and well, Tiger is just about done. I really could see him hanging it up. THere are a lot of guys that were at the top and lost it all. They never got it back to where they were and Tiger has the biggest obstacle to overcome of all of them. He should just go away for at least 6 months.
Well if Tiger does not make the cut tomorrow, he will have five months off unless he goes to play in Europe or overseas. Currently he is on the outside looking in for the FedEx cup.
The irony is Tiger should have taken last year off, got his personal life in order and in the process allowed his various aches and pains to get fully healthy. He would be in much better shape than he is in now. As it stands he is looking at two lost years and three and a half without a major.
As far as him hanging up the clubs soon, I don't see it. I have read multiple credible reports that Tiger is over leveraged financially and might have cash flow issues. If he can play and be at least competitive, he will still be enough of a draw to bring cash for himself and make some for the PGA. With no young American golfer ready to take the bull by the horns and Europeans dominating the majors lately, the PGA needs Tiger to get back to his old self.
