Another nail into the coffin of Charlie Weis. UConn beat Notre Dame 33-30 in overtime, in South Bend, on Senior Day. UConn has lost a lot of close games this year and had to deal with the murder of one of their players earlier in the season. They deserved this one.

UConn won in the second overtime period. It was tied at 27 after the first overtime.

IMHO, Urban will not consider a change until all of his kids are out of school and even then, I doubt he goes anywhere.
His choice will also be determined by how Shelly thinks about it.  I have read where she has stated that now she hates the cold weather they have up north.

Urban stays at UF.  Why leave the dynasty that you have built.  I think he just retires in a couple of years and enjoys the life all of his millions have brought him.

My plans are set though.  Dec. 5th in Atlanta for the SECCG and then on to Vegas the following day for a week.

To get Charlie out, alone, is 18MM smackeroos.  Then, you've got his staff, another couple of MM, at least.  

Then add Hiring another Coach, of Calibur, who'll expect a 5 year contract, at least, with his staff, etc... we're talking 20 to 30MM.  

So, financially, is it better to allow Charlie to stay another year, and then let the contract expire, as opposed to footing roughly 50MM?

Can't say, but Charlie is definitely not getting it done.  2nd loss on Senior day, and he's what, 6-5?  No better than when he came in '04.  

Fuck 'em.  Go SEC.  

Ole Miss got lucky, but won 25-23 over LSU and some dumb ass last second spike.  Les is sucking.

Especially for me. I got greedy and took the money line +180 instead of the five points and got screwed for being a pig. oh well, that's why they call it gambling. I got well on Texas and later Nevada to have a pretty decent day.
