It has been reported that Minnesota Twins Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew passed away this morning in Scottsdale Az.  He suffered from throat cancer and decided last week to stop treatment and enter hospice care.  Sad news for all of baseball.  Rest in Peace to a great gentleman, and thoughts and prayers for his family.

At least the suffering is over for him and his family.

Seems like just about every other week a hero of mine from childhood passes away. Harmon was one of the good guys!
