Nothing that I saw in the article.

...

But ...

Still VERY confident that we close out the series back in Boston.

The NBA office will most definetly take away the first technical on Perkins for that elbow that slipped while helping up pierce.

Jeez, he threw down Pierce , he elbowed KG, He threw down Perkins, he Knocked out Big Baby, He threw down Rondo. And a foul here or there. The guy plays dirty and the league protects him.

Next thing Perkins gets thrown out for accidentally elbowing Gortat and walking away angrily from a bad call. I Know David Stern wants the Magic in the finals. It is obvious by the way the officiating has gone. However, they need to make it less obvious.

Boston will still win in 6.

Howard finished the game with 2  ... yes 2 fouls on him! Ridiculous ...

I counted 17 .. but that is just me. :-D

Still not going to make excuses though. It is what it is. Orlando showed they have some fight. If we can't close it out in Boston Friday, then so be it. We don't deserve it then.

But I like our chances ...

The only explanaiton is that the League wants a climactic game 7. The TV ratings have been very good this season so an 0-3 comeback will intice casual viewers.

I am disgusted at how the NBA permits the officials to determine the outcome of the games. My only guess is that the NBA is in on it. Just ask Tim Donaghy.

Celtic excuses thread?

This is SPORTS though. I recognize sour grapes when it's offered up.

Why no bitching about cry-baby Kobe(wanting a foul everytime he misses a shot?). Why no bitching about Steve Nash getting beat the hell up everytime he takes the court?

Excuses or like Liorr's ass. THEY STINK!!!!

What have you been smoking?

The NBA is DYING for a Laker/Celtic finals. Highest TV ratings and interest level will only be attained with an LA/Boston series. The NBA (like every other sport) is all about the revenue they can generate.

I know that Orlando and Phoenix have rabid fans but gimme a break. Neither will draw the attention of the teams with 31 titles.

Yes, the officiating was horrendous. Never seen a worse ejection....but it went against the team the NBA is supposedly "rooting" for. GET OVER IT FOLKS. There is no NBA officiating conspiracy.

The one for arguing the call was recinded. However, the first one that happened acciidentally for hepling Piercu up still stood. WHat a load of BS.

Was there any mention of the referee who wrongly gave Perk two Ts

It was intended,i'm sure,to settle the two players down. Quite a frequent occurance.

He was helping pierce up ... and his hand slipped off of his, which made his arm snap back and "gently" nudge into his chest.

Then HE retaliated on Perkins. Perkins did nothing else.

BANG double "T".

Even a non Celtic fan can see that one VERY clearly ....

we're gonna have to agree to disagree.

I've been a referee for Basketball. Refs can only call what they see.

It was a good mutual call.

Seriously ...

He was helping his OWN player up ...

His hand slipped on his sweaty arm ... causing the elbow.

The Magic guy happened to be hovering over him ...

Did you REALLY see it??
