Maybe not.  SF and Dallas markets are among the largest in the country and both are larger than Philadelphia.  Plus both cities have football teams that suck this year so the baseball teams given their fans something to root for.

I'll go with the op, I think the ratings will be horrible nationally. The local markets may do well, but what about the rest of the country.

That's just false.  Philadelphia is a bigger market than both SF and Dallas.

Those data are four years old. According to census numbers SF  is the #5 market, Dallas #6 and Philly #7.  But it doesn't really matter either way; SF and Texas are in the World Series and Philly isn't.

You are wrong.  These are the latest Nielson numbers.  Philly has a substantial lead over those other markets by a half million.
