College football needs people like him, but his family needs him more. I hope he takes as much time as necessary to get his health problems ironed out and reintroduce himself to his kids. Reportedly, when he told them he was leaving coaching, their reply was, "Oh good! We've got our daddy back!"

I just saw where Meyer says he'll be back to coach the gators

in 2010.  Kind of a short leave of absence, huh?  He's beginning to remind me of Brett Favre!

Now that Meyer has pulled a Brett Favre, it puts Addazio

in a shitty position.  He's become a caretaker, not an interim coach!
