2. sabathia and rivera, arguably two of the best pitchers in baseball, can't handle the red sox this year. sabathia is 0-4 against them, the first time a yankee pitcher has gone 0-4 against the sox since Pat Dobson did it in 1975.
3. casanova is an illiterate fool.
4. rivera has more saves and slightly better era/whip numbers than papelbon; papelbon has significantly better strikeout and control numbers, and fewer blown saves (2 vs 5)
5. casanova gets proven wrong on a daily basis, often in the same thread (like this one) and keeps on babbling.
6. both yanks and sox have had their share of problems and injuries this year, both have played through them, and boston continues to maintain a slight edge. unless one team goes on a tear, the five remaining games they have together will probably be crucial.
7. every time you confront casanova with a fact or prove him wrong, he changes the subject.
